“Reading about the receiver I discovered Best Buy says it has a HD Radio. Reading on Yamaha website it says nothing about HD Radio. So which is it? Thanks”

Stevie, I have begun thinking about an AV receiver upgrade and had the very same question. All of the overviews of the RX-A3050 do not mention HD Radio, so I did a side-by-side comparison of the user manual PDF between the RX-A3050 and the RX-A3040 (previous year's model). The RX-A3040 called out HD Radio as a supported feature in the tuner section of the manual, whereas the RX-A3050 did not. My conclusion is that they have dropped HD Radio support.
