• Yes, you can configure the receiver impedance for 6 or 8 ohm speakers per the user manual.

• This Yamaha will run 6 ohm speakers in the front only (l and R front channels) The rest of the speakers need to be 8 ohm. This is my understanding in what I’ve read.
