QuestionI want to connect 6 of these Yamaha outdoor speakers to a Sonos Connect Amp, will this work? I want to make sure the wattage and stuff will work with both speaker an Sonos. Thanks

- Answer It should work perfect with the sonos. However, there are an example of you get what you pay for. We purchased because it’s for an ocean front home so everything rusts. Basically they are disposable and must be replaced every year or so.

- Answer I have both sets. You can’t go wrong with either. The 6.5 Just provides more wattage. That’s the only difference.

QuestionWhat is the power rating in watts per speaker???

- Answer 120W peak. Yamaha 6-1/2 is 130W and do sound better but the case is much larger. Check the specs of each for dimensions. If you can fit the 6-1/2" size it's definatley worth the few extra bucks.

- Answer These speakers are powered by your amplifier. They are not wireless like a bluetooth speaker.

QuestionWhat does the back look like?I want to set these speakers outside. Maybe in the landscaping. Maybe on the deck. Will I need to camouflage them somehow or do they look okay just setting out?

- Answer They look just fine sitting out, however you may want to hit them with some spray paint to match your deck or house. Just be careful when spray painting the grill and do it from an angle to avoid paint from getting inside and past the grill the speakers. Also, these are available in white or black sets, so pick the closest color to start with. Also, these are fairly easy to install in some hidden locations as well cause they are small.
