You can add storage by adding a MicroSD card under the kickstand. If you are referring to RAM then that can not be changed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You cannot add RAM to this tablet, but if you mean "memory" in storage terms, then yes, it can accept MicroSD cards.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, you have to purchase the SP3 with the memory preferred already installed. If you want 8Gb of memory, you need to purchase the next level up with the 256 Gb SSD drive and 8 Gb memory. The difference in cost is about the same as aftermarket cost for other computers (remember, you are also doubling the SSD size with the additional 4 Gb memory), so factor that into any comparison cost review.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No memory can be added to the Surface Pro 3. If you get one, figure out the maximum amount of memory and storage space you will need for the next few years and get the appropriate model. The only thing you can add is a micro SD card for additional storage.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Memory cannot be added to the Surface Pro it is factory pre-configured.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Kind of. You can add up to 128 GB MicroSD Class 10\UHS-3 or anything less. It doesn't act as RAM, however, only as hard drive space.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I was interested in RAM. Thanks for the responses. I was aware of the micro-SD cards. Mike F
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you mean RAM, no. I suggest you purchase the highest spec product you can afford as there are no upgrades to be added later. On the bright side, there is a MicroSD slot on the back which can add up to an additional 128gb if you wish.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can add memory in the form of a micro-SD card, which shows up as another drive letter (D:, for example). I don't think it's possible to add system memory in the filed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, there is a microSD card slot under the back hinge.
