• Once this device is fully charged and paired via Bluetooth. It is very responsive, other than having to enter in your passcode or fingerprint to unlock your device. Each time the screen is facing the keyboard when closed it goes into sleep mode and when opened up the screen wakes up. Although there is a sleep button on the keyboard. Personal opinion; it is one of the best accessory keyboards on the market. Once I saw it, compared to the other version, and other companies keyboards, I chose this one to best for my needs.

• It does. When you open the keyboard, the iPad wakes up. You still have to enter your PIN or use your thumbprint to unlock though.

• I do not think so. I put my iPad Air 2 asleep by clicking the power button before I close the Zagg lid.

• No - you'd have to make sure your sleep time in settings was low enough to keep the time between charges up
