• Yes, I had the tech at Best Buy install a Zagg InvisiShield HD Clear screen protector and it fit perfectly.

• Yes. The glass so so thin (as "thin" as my plastic sheet on previous iPad). The glass is virtually invisible so is no problem in any circumstance.
