Hello, The Breeze II hood is measured in sones. The rating is 1.9- 4.5 on the 3 different speed levels. A sone is a measurement of sound. For example a 1 sone is equated to the silent sound a refrigerator makes- and 4.5 is approximately equivalent to normal conversation on a TV. Thank you for your inquiry!
