    • Answer This system comes with a 4 channel NVR. Other Zmodo IP cameras will connect to this NVR, as long as a channel is available. So, if you disconnected one of the included cameras, the NVR would be able to connect to another Zmodo IP camera. If you have any other question on this process, please contact our support team at 217-903-5037 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Central time.

  • QuestionDo you need to have wifi in order to use the system?

    • Answer You do not need WiFi for the NVR to connect to the included cameras and record to a hard drive. You can connect the NVR to your router to view the video feed from anywhere on your phone.

  • QuestionAre the cameras powered over the network cable or do they have a power block for each??

    • Answer This system is sPoE, which means the power and video are transmitted through the network cable that is connected to the back of the NVR.     • Answer Yes, the cameras will automatically switch to night vision in dim conditions. The cameras will see up to 65ft in dim lighting.
