So many choices, I hope I made the right one...
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got the itch to finally upgrade my gaming laptop as my current laptop was an Acer Predator Helios 300 from 2017 with 1060-6GB so it was time for an upgrade. The market for gaming laptop is so large now with each model having multiple package upgrades from RAM, SSD space, and processors to fit your personal needs. So honestly, there is no perfect choice since all hardware can be upgraded for a price. I did research in all the major name brands from ASUS to Razer and the new ones like Gigabyte. Again, everything comes down to personal preference. I wanted portability, power, and build quality. Those three staples are what Razer is known for. So I picked this Razer Blade up for $2200 "Open-boxed" which for a 3800 and 32 GB of RAM is an amazing price. As a gaming, ill always choose a better refresh rate of picture quality. This Razer has a unique build with a 3080 and only hitting the default 1920×1080p which is a little odd but the higu refresh rate being the goal. I know it will not hit 360hz in AAA titles like COD, BF, or Elden Ring but still my preference of having a higher refresh rate at the sacrifice of standard picture quality. Since mine was used it came with windows 10 which I'm fine with until they debugg Win11. Build quality is amazing and the speakers blow my brother Lenovo Legion out of the water. When gaming I'll be using it LID closed with a monitor a majorty of the time so I wont really experience heat issues. But it is a gaming laptop sooooooo heat is expected. Same with terrible battery life. It ran games like Metro Exodus and Total War with ease. Will update should I experience any issues over the next 12 months. Any purchase worth over $200 usually gives me buyers remorse cause even now I'm comparing other laptops like the Asus Zephyrus or the MSI Raider, haha. But! I am happy with it! Do your research! Watch youtube videos, if you're on a budget buy the previous year model. Remember, there is no perfect laptop choice. Only the perfect choice for YOU and YOUR needs.

Get it open box.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Like another review said, for the price this laptop isn't quite worth it. If you can get it open box like I did for 600 off the retail price it is definitely worth it and I recommend it. The only problem I had with the laptop was the Windows 11 install they shipped with crapped out and put me in a boot loop the first time it downloaded updates. I still had my old NVME with Windows 10 installed which I slipped in and worked great.

My oldest son is in IT and recommended this computer, as he doesn’t want to just game on it, but create some things. My son loves it and says he hasn’t been able to stop using it. It is fast and responsive for him.

good but not for its price
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.looks and feels nice. 360 hz screen is noticeably smoooooth. but since the whole laptop is metal and not plastic, your hands get warm and sweaty while placing on the wriest rest area. need to wipe off sweat very frequently or nasty crusting forms. and i wash my hands 95% of the time before using. i think the gpu is maxq variant as well.

Q: QuestionOn razors website this laptop is listed as having a 240hz screen not 360hz and also it says it has a second open nvme ssd slot I wanted to make sure that this was indeed the same so I can add an extra ssd
Asked by Jackson.
- A:Answer It is indeed 360hz and comes with an open NVME slot. Beware though, the slot assumes you're using 1 sided SSDs. I was able to fit one double sided and the one 1 sided SSD it came with in, but 2 double sided absolutely wouldn't work.

Q: QuestionDoes this laptop overheat when playing or using for a long period of time?
Asked by Monitor.
- A:Answer Define "overheat". Its a compact gaming laptop with a 3080 inside. So regardless of how good the cooling is it will get hot enough to make your hand slightly uncomfortable. Now will it overheat crash or damage the computer? No, Razer puts their laptops through rigorous testing to prevent that. If you're worried about heating issues look into a good cooling pad or a laptop stand paired with a monitor which is the setup I run and avoids any heating issues with the lid closed.
