Great Mouse, Even Better Dock

This mouse is incredible, and especially because of its charging dock. I was worried about switching to a wireless mouse, but with the charging dock all my concerns were put at ease. It's incredibly simple, easy, and convenient to charge this mouse, and it holds its charge for days, if not weeks, depending on usage. I also love how lightweight it is, and never want to go back to using my old, heavier Corsair M65.
The customization options, from the lights to the four extra hardware buttons, are great, and allow you to set up the mouse depending on your use-case (I have the buttons set to back/forward, and the other set to adjusting the DPI). Heavily recommend this mouse, especially at the $60 price point I was able to purchase it for.

I love this mouse, decent battery life, very responsive .The charging dock is nice, but the charging cord is long so it is easy to use wired as well. Goes great with my pink matching keyboard.

Very nice and light wireless mouse. This is gaming ready. Loving the subtle design and LED. Doesn't look like it belongs to a kid. Nice clicks right and left. Good skates on the bottom. The charging stand is nice but not necessary. Maybe would have preferred a cost saving option without the charging stand. Can play wired or wireless. Battery literally lasts forever. As good as you can expect anyway. The cable that comes with the mouse is pretty decent. Not as good as coolermaster's MM710. (I love that mouse)
A few cons for me. I don't like the navigation buttons on both sides, or the placement in general. Easy to make accidental clicks. Really has been a deal breaker on making this my main gaming mouse. Front micro USB could have been type C for the price and another negative...the price, but you know. Also, the center wheel leaves a lot to be desired. The spikey knobbies are not comfortable, and it is mushy feeling to roll, not clicky. It does have a slight click, but not much. And the roll amount seems too low.
I would like the mouse shorter with more of a hump on the back, I would say this shape is more for finger tip grip. It is a small mouse light mouse.

I bought this mouse with the dock when it went on sale for under 80 dollars. This was a gift for my brother and his first wireless mouse. I remember seeing his face when I had given him the package and how his eyes were filled with joy when he unboxed it. Afterwards, I made sure that the S/N of the mouse was XX2037 or above (There's a reddit post for that: "Know if your Razer Viper Ultimate is the "updated version"). You can find your S/N on the bottom of the mouse package box. After confirming that the mouse was indeed XX2037 or above, my brother set it up with his laptop. To get started, he plugged the USB to micro USB into the mouse itself. After the laptop registered this new device, a prompt for Razer Synapse 3 appeared on his laptop. After downloading, installing Synapse, and adjusting all the color options as well as disabling Mouse Button 5 and Mouse Button 4, he started to set it up wirelessly. He connected the charging dock with the laptop through the provided USB to micro USB port, placed it on his desk. Afterwards he opened the compartment underneath the mouse to find the wireless dongle to plug into the charging dock. There, the mouse was fully set up.
-First installing Synapse, his mouse percentage was 78%.
-He charges it every 5-6 days.
-Mouse clicks are not mushy.
-The dock syncs color with the mouse percentage level.
-You need an account to use Razer Synapse.
-Razer Synapse needs to run in the background to sync profile colors, key binds, etc.
-Run Razer Synapse at startup to save time adjusting profiles.
It's been a month since he received this mouse. He has noticed how light this mouse was compared to his old wired one. One thing he has noticed is how dusty the dock tends to get so make sure you clean it often. In conclusion, it's reliable mouse for the price we bought it for.

Great mouse for ambidextrous users. Lightweight, has great battery life, feels good in good, and looks sleek. Only downside would be that it's kinda small. Overall 8.5/10

The mouse is amazing! Its super light and there really isnt noticeable input delay using the dongle. Though I do have to say the scroll wheel could be better. I say this because it feels really cheap. Another thing is that there are 4 side buttons (2 on each side) which i sometimes hit accidentally but its not a big issue. Regardless, The viper ultimate is incredibly, huge upgrade from my viper mini. My aim definitely increased on fps games and it’s extremely worth it for its price at the moment

Got the Mercury version and the dock for 89.99 when it went on sale. I have to tell you what a steal that is. The mouse comes with a 2-year warranty from Razer. I’m guessing that also includes the dock. Setting up the mouse was simple, connect the USB to micro USB cable from your pc to the mouse. After registering the drivers, a prompt for Razer Synapse 3 appeared and all you have to do is download and install it. Register or login with your Razer account and start making mouse profiles. One thing I really don’t like about the software is how it NEEDS to run in the background for your mouse profiles to save. If you accidentally close out of it, your mouse will act like a brand new one. Thus, make sure you have Synapse run during the startup of your pc and leave it until you turn it off. After I had set up the mouse wired, I took out the wireless dongle using my thumb from under the mouse. I unplugged the micro-USB cable from the mouse and plugged it into the charging dock, afterwards I plugged in the wireless dongle and placed the mouse on top of the dock to sync. It was now ready for wireless play. Works really well and I don’t regret spending the extra ~11 dollars for the Mercury version over the default black one. I chose the Mercury version because I wanted to make sure I had a 100% chance in getting the V2 switches. You can look up comparisons between V1 and V2, V1 switches are essentially more mushy and they can cause creaking noises when clicking the mouse buttons. To conclude, this mouse offers good value with how much you’re paying for.
-When trying to plug in the dock using the micro-USB cable, I had difficulties with plugging it all the way in. At first I thought the dock was unresponsive until I jammed the cable into the dock. So make sure you have the cable all the way in before you worry!
-White gets visibly dirtier than the black version of the mouse which means more cleaning.
-Mouse is very light.
-Dock sits on the desk after it’s plugged in.
(Check out the review my brother and I wrote for the black version.)

A:The DPI stages can all be changed based on your preference in Razer's software, the base stages however go as follows:
Red: 400
Green: 800
Blue: 1600
Cyan: 2400
Yellow: 3200
A:I’m also a 4”11 female and this mouse is a little big but not in a way that will make in uncomfortable to hold. it probably also depends on the way you hold it. Personally it’s size doesn’t bother me and my hands are very small.
A:Razer themselves have a 1.5 to 2 year warranty on all of their peripherals regardless of where you bought it, register the product through them and you should be good. I assume if you bought a warranty through best buy you can get a replacement through best buy then register that one with razer in case something similar occurs again.
