We are in Florida Summer and this unit is operating as a freezer in our garage. It frankly, works better than our side by side freezer in the house. I have been so pleased with this unit! It has been more than a year already, and everything is working fine. Another convenience thing about this freezer is the frost free. The stand up freezer makes the food more visible, and easy to get compare to the chest freezer.

Beware, if you use it as a refrigerator, and you loose power, when the power comes back on, the default temp setting is a freezer temperature. Your liquids may burst.

Is advertised as garage ready and will work with temperatures from 0-110, but during a recent heat wave my garage hit 91 and the food in the freezer seemed to thaw out a little. Once the garage cooled off a bit, then it was fine.

It was by far a terrific value for the price and we received it super fast. I am so impressed by its performance. I didn't realize how poorly our chest freezer was performing until we tried our new freezer, it's night and day!
