Very happy with our HP wireless printer

Love the app that works with it also. So easy to install although I must of missed a step figuring out the ink cartridges but they are in.

Frustrating and not worth it

Blinking lights and combinations of blinking lights are how you are expected to know what is happening with the machine. It is not at all intuitive. I had to print out the pages from the manual to keep them handy since I had to look them up so often. Five pages worth of light combinations. Who thought having no readable display was a good idea? Every time we have to change the ink, which is a lot more often than I ever needed to before, it also prints out a new alignment page. I think I've printed more of these pages than actual printouts - how am I going through so much ink when I don't print all that often? I have never gone through ink so fast. For all I know, it's using a timer and not actually measuring the ink. Having to open up the app every time I want to do something. What a nuisance. Old printer/scanners would communicate with the computer without needing to do this. The app is as unintuitive as the blinking lights. Over the last three days, it has had moments of every light blinking like mad and nothing in the manual says what to do about it. The only fix is to unplug it. Print quality is good. Scan quality is good. Not good enough to put up with this other nonsense. Wish I could return it.

On a related note, I'd like to mention the fact that HP printers do also have a 1-year warranty from their purchase date, so if you find you need to use it, I hope you will. To verify the warranty, look for an icon on our support site labeled “Check Warranty Status.”

This is my first HP Printer and it does not disappoint. The speed and being able to print on both sides to save paper when you have 2 kids and one adult in school that need to print is amazing. I have already recommended it to family and friends. The price for ink cartridges only having to buy 2 cartridges for color and black versus having to buy 4 cartridges fits better into our budget than previous printers we had. Thank you for making and sell such a great product.
