I’m miffed that I can’t use my other Canon lenses that I invested in - especially when other cameras in this current generation still support them, but those are the breaks I guess

If youre looking fo portraits or closeups then this is the one to get. So far it has doen exactly what i got it to do which was capture great portraits and closeups

Don’t hesitate- BUY IT

It works perfectly on my canon r6 and I have no issues with focus or anything. Since purchasing it, it hasn’t come off my camera. I wish canon would sell more prime RF lens like this.

Many people complain its price

For $200, we probably deserve more on this lens since unlike its 35mm/85mm version, it doesn't have a stablization. This lens is actually very similar to its EF STM version but sell at much higher price. The biggest problem on its optical performance is the huge chromatic dispersion in the photo. Sometimes it's impossible to remove it with PS which is such a pain.

Just better for me! Wouldnt say anything is wrong with this just not my favorite!
