We’ve been using this Whirlpool washer for our family of five, and overall it’s well worth it for us. It has some excellent features that make laundry easier and more effective:
***What’s Great:
Large capacity: The 5.2 cu. ft. tub lets us wash big loads — even bulky items like comforters — which is a huge help with a large family with young kids.
2-in-1 removable agitator: We love the flexibility of removing the agitator when we need extra space or putting it back in when we want deeper cleaning.
Smart features & convenience: The smart controls and features like the Load & Go detergent dispenser simplify our routine for our kids to use.
Clothes come out cleaner: Our laundry consistently comes out cleaner than it did with the front-load washer we replaced, which is a big win for us.
Easy to use and efficient: The wash settings and HE design work well for everyday clothes and sport-heavy loads alike.
***One Con Worth Noting
Louder than a front loader: It is noticeably louder compared to the front-loading machine we had before — especially during agitation and the spin cycle — but for us, the better cleaning performance and capacity outweigh the extra noise.
***Bottom Line:
This Whirlpool top-load washer is a great fit for a busy household that wants large capacity, flexible agitation options, smart features, and truly clean clothes. If you’re okay with a louder washer than a front loader, it’s a solid choice that’s been worth it for our family.

Nothing but problems since day 1. Service person has been out 2 times and has yet to fix the issue. Bad motherboard. Now bad motor assembly. Only been about a month and a half since purchase.

The clothes would get tangled up in a ball leaving it completely wrinkled and it wouldn't wash right. Also the washer started tumblinb back and forth and we only put a small load.

I love this washing machine. It is super quiet and gets clothes cleaner and faster than the 5 year old Maytag it replaced. It's large capacity so if you are a short person it would be hard to remove clothes - I'm 5'5" and can manage okay but have to stretch. I like the option of easily removing the center agitator for large bulky items. Control are easy and intuitive.

So far I really like the ease of use and simple selections. I love that I can remove the agitator for items like comforters and quilts. Big plus!!! Plus it measures the load and adds the appropriate level of water. So cool!! Whirlpool girl for life!!!

After three front loaders, I needed something better. I chose this model based on the sales persons recommendations and I am so glad I did! It has a larger capacity, a quieter spin, the clothes feel cleaner and the machine is simple to use. I am hopeful it’ll last longer than the three years my previous machines have worked.

Finally, a washer that I absolutely love and feel actually does a great job washing and gets the clothes clean. Great overall washer, East to connect WiFi, easy washer set up and removal of agitator. I have owned this washer for approximately 1 month. It immediately outperformed my previous 2 1/2 year old Maytag that broke beyond repair about a month ago. In the past month, I have put this washer to the test and have washed everything from small loads, normal loads, large loads of clothes and even large loads with sheets and towels. I have even washed a couple big bulky x-large loads with king comforter and a load with blankets. This washer cleans like the older washers used to clean. I highly recommend this washer for anyone in the market for a new washer.

So far works great! Its only been 1 week. Has removable agitator. Absolutely love the load and go soap! Would be great if they made one for the fabric softener. Had the same washer, just smaller capacity. This one definitely handles comfortors and rugs much better than the smaller capacity. It does make a humming or whining sound when washing that my recent model didn't, according to whirlpool forums, thats normal on newer models. However, it spins things to almost dry! Much better than my smaller capacity previous model Whirlpool washer.

After reading some negative reviews, I was hesitant in getting this washer. To my surprise, it is very easy to operate, and the machine is quite quiet. The size is excellent. I wash my bedding and comforter pretty much weekly, and it fits my queen size comforter. This machine washes my clothes much better than the previous Whirlpool Cabrio that I had for 10 years. This model appears to use a little more water than the Cabrio, which I prefer. I always set the extra rinse setting on. I like the auto detergent dispenser, which is very convenient, not having to pour detergent into the machine every time I do a load of laundry. The display is operated with a light touch. I have this machine for about a month, and I am very happy with it. Because some reviews commented the display going out, I bought the 5 year warranty from Best Buy ... just in case.

So far so good. I had just come from a front loading washer and it broke within a few months. There so expensive to fix and the realibilty of front loaders is bad for a reason. I wanted to go back to a top loading washer but not ones that weren't HE. There weren't many choices out there as most top loaders use a lot of water and aren't HE. I was looking for a top loader that didn't use a lot of water and was HE.
I stumbled upon this one after a lot of research and bit the bullet. Plus having a removable agitator is a plus. It works as advertised. It's the top loading washer that's an upgrade from the future of the water gullzers from the past. My water and electric bill have dropped, its got a huge tube so I can wash giant loads all at once which saves on electricity and water, and it has wifi so can keep an eye on when the loads are washing. It's feature packed and works well.
The only thing I've had a issue with is using it without the agitator. It bounces around and doesn't work well. But it works just fine with it. Just make sure you balance your loads. Make sure the things you are washing aren't on the agitator. Push everything away from the center. I've had it over a year and haven't had any issues so far!
I would recommend this to a friend

I have had this washer for a few weeks now and so far it’s been working great. I like that I can remove the Agitator. It’s extremely quiet and really like how I can load lots of detergent without the need of doing each load. This will now be my 2nd whirlpool Cabrio washer within the last 12 years so a family like ours were we do loads daily we give it a good amount of use but the life span isn’t like the older ones they should at least last 7-10 years. The smart features , touch controls and the small led screen is a nice touch as well.

I have had my washer for a little over a month now and I love it! I thoroughly enjoy that I don't have to measure out the detergent anymore and I can pop it in the load and go and be on my way. Its so easy to just toss clothes in and start the load and then head off to whatever I need to for my kids. I also love that the agitator comes out, makes it big enough to throw my oversize king comforters in to be washed instead of loading them up into my car and taking them to the laundromat.

The capacity and removable agitator are amazing. It's hard to believe it fits in the same space as our old one. I do put it on deep water. The water sensor like every other water sensing machine I've used doesn't add enough water. Clothes aren't even totally wet. I can't knock off a whole star for this but it's worth noting. It's super easy to understand and use and clothes come out clean w deep water setting. The fill and go detergent dispenser is so nice. I like it more than I thought I would.

Very easy to operate. Washer is very quiet and smooth. I love having the option of using the agitator for normal washes and being able to remove it when I need to wash bulky items like bedding. Clothes come out almost dry so, drying them takes less time. Overall, very pleased with this washer!
