Sony is still the Best!

I was replacing a 9 year old 50 inch Bravia whose Android OS had started rebooting increasingly at random. I wanted to try an OLED and though an LG was on sale for half the price of the Bravia, I’m just a Sony fanboy at heart. Paired it with an Apple TV 4K, that I purchased at the same time. I could not be any happier with my decision. With just a few tweaks on both of the items, think Picture:Custom, Color Space:DCI on the Sony and Content Match: Frame Rate and Dynamic Range on the Apple TV and bam PERFECT PICTURE! Calibrated the picture with my iPhone and no correction was needed. I will say that if this is your first OLED TV there will be a bit of an adjustment period. But once you get used to the infinite contrast and lack of artificial brightness you will be hooked. Sony and Apple are an unbeatable pair!!! Bravo!…or should I say BRAVIA!!!

My favorite TV ever!

The colors and the skin tones are so lifelike I feel like I am actually “there.” I appreciate the lack of over sharpening I have experienced in the past with other brands This screen is so easy on my eyes and a joy to watch. This TV is a movie lovers delight! The speakers are remarkably full and rich for a small flat screen TV as well. Happy camper here:) Thank you Sony for creating such a wonderful, high quality TV for folks like myself who live in a small space.

OLED is honestly amazing. Some gradients fading to black make it look like half of the TV is simply off--no washed out black from a backlight. Only problem with it is sometimes the remote will disconnect, so I have to pop out the batteries and reset it. A little annoying for something so expensive, but not the worst thing in the world. The image is unbeatable and the reason I bought the TV.

For your remote control issue, make sure to keep the remote control sensor area clear from obstacles. Avoid mixing new batteries and used batteries, or different brands of batteries together. Perform a power reset of your TV. Temporary and intermittent issues are often resolved by performing a power reset. Unplug the TV power cord, wait about two minutes, and then plug it back in.

So I took the old 4K tv and made it my PC monitor. All reviews pointed to either the LG or This Sony TV blew me away. Once the setup was done, I had to do nothing to the color it was perfect. The sound was pretty good too. Worth every penny.

I finally upgraded my 12 year old Samsung for this tv and it doesn’t disappoint. The color / true black is amazing, I love the smart tv interface, and it is awesome to game with it on my PS5. Very happy. My first experience with OLED and I can’t go back I will just add I don’t think the sound quality is great but I’m spoiled because I’ve had a sound bar for years and find most tv sound quality is mediocre at best

Great tv but Wifi can be an issue

To watch regukar tv, movies and ps5 gaming its really too notch. Only problem is it will disconnect from the wifi time to time and it wont want to reconect unless hou unolug the tv which can be very annoying. Every 3-4 months it just wint connect to the wifi and aometimes just a reset does the trick but when it doesent I have to unplug the tv for 60 seconds and it works. Other than that its a superb tv!

A90K is #1 for 48” class

With a Best Buy warranty for 925, after tax. Tv arrived with a box that looked in rough shape from shipping, I was skeptical. We removed the tv and hung it on the wall, it worked flawlessly and had zero signs of use or scratches. We were absolutely blown away by the clarity, color, and motion processing. Standard cable tv looked HD, Netflix, HBO/MAX, and Disney + looked better than blue ray movies used to. COD on PS5 felt within 1% as instantaneous as my 1ms monitor once calibrated in game mode. Sony finally nailed it. I had issues in the past with an a90J 65 and google assistant slowing down the OS on the Home Screen navigation menu. I left google assistant voice commands off, and am able to fly through the Home Screen or app menus with no lag while scrolling through movies titles or settings. For the past 20 years the price point has been the same for a high end TV while everything else has gone up 25-100%. Huge value for what I’ve received vs what I’ve paid. Well done Sony, well done Best Buy.

I tried 2 other brands, Samsung and another. The picture on my new SONY is so much more superior and awesome than Samsung. No comparison truthfully. Also getting Google TV is already installed. Both Samsungs made it almost impossible to get and use Google TV. The options of so many free sites are endless on my Sony. I currently own 2 Sony’s and never to try another brand. NEVET‼️ The sale price I purchased my new Sony with, was unbelievable. What a pleasant experience and pleasure to experience this model Sony.

Great picture and sound without soundbar

Once the quirks were worked out, like restarting when turned on, from doing a lot of searching in online forums, TV seems stable now. Love that it's a Google TV and added to Google Home. Also love that the stand is in the middle of the TV and not legs on the edges. A little pricey, but it is a Sony.

The A90K was the only 4K 120hz TV that had a shallow enough stand depth to fit it. It was a little bit more money than I wanted to spend, but the quality is insane compared to my old insignia 1080p panel. Now, I probably didnt need to go OLED in order to be impressed with an upgrade from that, so your mileage may vary, but all told I’m glad i went with this option.

Our TV tipped over and cracked. Best Buy showed us several options in our budget and we settled on this one. The speakers and the stand were great selling points. There’s 5 built in speakers and a very stable stand. The picture quality is great. We are very pleased with our purchase and the assistance we received at Best Buy.

Dark Frozen SONY A90 screen!

Also tried the LG C4 which was better overall, but not close in color replications IMHO. Loved Sony's simple backlit remote as well! Returned Sony because: !. tv froze 2nd time, and had to unplug to unfreeze; !!. bubbles on display screen, that did not affect performance, but annoying just the same; !!!. chaotic app format... iv. not interested in talking with tech support right out the box; v. cannot figure out why tv 2022 model still?? vi. screen just TOO dark; Probably would have kept unit if not for the freezing issue.

My husband couldn’t figure out the stand so we had a friend install it on the wall for us. It is a great size for a small/medium bedroom or smaller den/kitchen. It was easy to set up, (except the flat base)! The picture is sharp. The colors are vibrant. The sound is great! I don’t know why I waited all these years but it’s worth the wait. Thank you!
