And I can count on one hand how many times I even used it. When you connect to it , there is a 75% chance the color gambit of the screen you're connected to will be really darkened like it's on reader mode or something. Oh and it got hotter then a hand warmer while in use. All in all I say every other port did work on it so maybe I'll give it 2 stars but that stands for fair. And at this price , all the forension issues I just stated isn't exactly worthy of its price tag so one star it is.

Then a few weeks ago my monitor stopped working even though it worked well with two other computers. Checked it out and found it to be very hot. When it cooled the montor worked fine until the device heated up again in less than 5 minutes. Went back to the old device.

Posted .Ensure that the mini dock is placed in a well-ventilated area and not obstructed. Overheating can occur if the device is not receiving adequate airflow. Extreme ambient temperatures can contribute to overheating. Ensure the operating environment is within the recommended temperature range. Make sure the mini dock is receiving the correct power supply through a power adapter. Using an incorrect or underpowered adapter can lead to overheating. Keep this in mind but this can be a pretty good docking station regardless. But I'm too concerned about this thing burning itself to death in about a year
