    When I heard LG had a new Combo unit to compete with LG and it was even more compact- 9 inches shorter I was super excited. This unit simply did not dry. I talked to some reviews who had no problems so I don't know if I had a dud unit, or if it was set up by the installers incorrectly but we are talking VERY small loads. Like 3-4 items. I tried reaching out to LG on Twitter like they tell people and they tried to help but they had no idea. Tehy basdically just explain that these units dried differently. I went back to the GE combo unit which has no problems drying, Also note- besides the 5 CU ft of capacity they pretty much say in the manual that there is no way it will dry that. They tell you to only keep it half full. What is the point of 5 CU feet of space if you can't actually dry it. I know LG has a great brand but I think this product has too many compromises.

    I convinced my wife that it would ge less work and more efficient to have a combo washee and dryer. When our washee started to have issues, I started shopping for this model. This is truly s smart appliance. It reminds you to clean the filter, refill the detergent and to remove your clean clothes. It is really important to read the manual as the instructions and performing of regular cleaning are key to good preventative maintenance.

    We like this machine very much. It is capable and compact. We needed both with our changing lifestyle. It cleans well. It dries well. It delivers like all our LG appliances have.

    I’m hoping it works out really good for us as we did a lot of research before buying it. Unfortunately we haven’t been able to use it yet because we are needing to get the pedestal for it and move it so it will work out better for us

    Save your time, money, and frustration! DO NOT BUY THIS ALL IN ONE. Lint stays in the drum, condensation builds up in the actual lint tray, and it will stay in dry mode on 4 min for 8 bleeping hours. Your clothes will not dry and forget about trying to wash a comforter. Spent way too much having to hang dry items after 50-11 hours of wait time. I'm so upset and should not have to take clothes to a laundromat. NEGATIVE STARS!

    I have used the machine so far for 6 loads of laundry. I have never filled the drum more than 1/2 full. It has only taken 2 hours to wash and dry each load and the clothes and towels have always come out dry. I have seen reviews with people complaining about the clothes not coming out dry. They must be overfilling the drum. You need to clean out the lint filter after every load and you should wipe down the rubber gasket after every load. So far I love it!

    We've had our machine for a couple of months now. We love it. It does take a bit more care when it comes to lint. Follow the maintenance recommendations in the owner's manual, and it works great. You can't ignore the maintenance. If you do, you will find the drying times increase. Our machine is on an inside wall, without a vent and only a 110-volt outlet, so this washer and dryer combo is perfect. One more thing... Be sure not to overload the washer. It will make the drying times much longer.
