First returned as defective in less than 2 weeks... replacement was slow and sluggish, and returned in less than a week

It lags all the time, and is slow. I shouldnt have listened to the pushy best buy agent who convinced me that this is a better purchase than the other laptop that I wanted to buy originally

I bought this HP computer and I had trouble to just to set it up to work. I called a USA number found in the internet that claimed support HP computer and it was answer in India. They try to get my credit card number to pay for the right to a browser and not for fixing the computer. Later I called HP and the called was answer in Asia. I would not recommend any HP. I bought a DELL and it works very well.

Not a quality machine. RAM failed after 18 months, cost to replace was 2/3rds of the original purchase price. I'd recommend avoiding HP products.

Run! do not buy this computer.It is soooooo Slow. Had to take it to best buy multiple times for issues. I have only used it a handful of times because its so frustratingly slow. Not sure if mine is just a dud. I wish I could get my money back,this is just sitting in my house. Worthless.

It's easy to use tablet mode however sometimes let's the keyboard still kind of work and it's a bit hard to navigate.

Got my brand new laptop a few days ago and now have to take it back because it is not working. Extremely slow!

I haven"t had this. laptop for more than. a year and its been giving problems. The laptop is very slow and most of the time. the screen is frozen. I recommend buying another laptop.

Desperate for a computer at tax time. This unit it slow and really good for nothing but online games and documents. You get what you pay for.

Only had this laptop 30 days before it went wacko. Geeksquad could not fix it so has to be returned to factory for repairs,so no computer for 2 weeks.

Got this brand new, first 4 hours including set up was too slow. had to attach a plain one page scan, and it took forever to attach to an email.

PC looks great - track pad and screen are also great as well . But the thing is incredibly slow. Pay an additional 150$ and get an i5 with SSD

Let's just put it this way, this is a great value for a good computer. Do not expect a $1,000+ value laptop for ~$500. Best advice, know what you need out of your machine before you purchase. My work gives me $1500/year to purchase technology equipment for work, even then, I didn't spend it all (obviously). I needed something portable (but not too small), decent performance to run word, excel, do some conference calls and VPN into my work computer while out in the field. This seems to check all of the boxes. Weirdest thing though, the specs at the store and online say 6gb of RAM, but the side of the box it came in said 8gb of RAM and also the device specifications in the settings also say 8gb of RAM. Runs pretty smooth. Good overall machine if you're not a gamer but do have lots of tabs open and are multitasking between a bunch of items. I have only had this for a couple of weeks, but if it holds up for a while I might bump it up to 5 star. Only Con I can think of is the HDD is only 500gb, whereas most in this price range (+-$100) come with about 1TB. Either that or put a small 128gb SSD and this thing would be a rocket. I think it they added the small SSD and bumped up the price ever so slightly, this thing would be hard to keep on the shelf!
