Ive tried the ice machine with tap water and bottle water.With tap water the ice come out soft and it is easier to bite if u are a ice eater and melts fast.The bottle water the ice comes out hard and last longer. I love it.

Ok i like it for home use. It takes about 10 minutes to make 5 bigs ice cubes, so on a hot day trying to fill a cup that can be frustrating. But let it go for an hour and it will be just fine.

I've bought several of this type counter top ice machine, and this one has been the best so far. The others only lasted about a year, this one has lasted somewhat better, and it produces more ice than other brands.

I purchased this for my sister who is a teacher. She got tired of using the employee fridge ice that smelled funny. Anyways, She loves it and always has ice ready when needed. Makes ice really fast and at a steady pace.

It makes ice fast and I had no problems with the odor or taste of the ice. Just wipe it out and discard the first few batches as instructed. I don't like that It does not keep the ice from melting after it is in the basket.

Just what I needed. Bought a expensive refrigerator the ice maker was garbage. Bought this to compensate for its short comings. After using it for a small gathering its a winner. They called it a bottomless ice bucket.

My fridge doesn't have an icemaker and this sure beats the plastic trays. I live alone so it makes plenty of ice for cocktail time. Starts making ice fairly quick to esp. compared to the plastic trays. About as big as a coffee maker.

Works great for a family without an ice maker. Quicker than ice trays and better than having to purchase ice every couple of days. Once ice is done being made be sure to put the cubes in an ice cube holder in your freezer.

This little ice machine was easy to setup and started working as soon as we set it up and poured water into it. Seems a little pricey for an ice maker, but it is quite and works good.

I actually purchased this same product for myself last year to take when we go to the lake. I was very impressed with how quickly it produced ice and so were my friends, so I decided to buy them one for their birthdays!

Does a great job of making ice. Exactly as described. As long as you empty the basket frequently you can get a lot of ice in a few hours. Looks nice as well if you want to leave it in the counter.

These ice makers are great to have for extra ice as we do not have an ice maker in our freezer. The ice cubes are not solid core so they melt in liquid quickly but do keep cold fluids cold for awhile. We only use distilled water and run the machine continuously 24/7. We have had several throughout the years and never had one work continuously for more than 2 years. These are an ice Maker and not a Freezer so once the ice is made, it slowly melts inside the container. You could make batches and freeze them but with that, you would be better off to use ice cube trays in your freezer as the cubes would be solid and last longer.

This is a great ice maker, not that hard to keep up with it, you can go about your activities at home and it will keep making ice as long as you keep water in it and empty the tray when it gets full

Who would’ve thought that I needed a portable icemaker? It works great and now I can have a scotch on my deck without having to walk down three flights of stairs to the kitchen. We love it!

Perfect for camping, makes the ice even in the heat outside. Ice is best used immediately as it comes out wet. Unit does not hold ice and it will melt, the melted water goes back to make more ice! Useful for what I use it for!

I was hesitant about this but it turned out to be a great item. It only takes minutes to make ice and it produces a lot for the amount of water that's added. It probably takes only an hour to fill a large zip lock bag.

Received as a Father's Day gift for my man cave. Love it. Rarely need to go upstairs for anything, except maybe food. Only complaint is the ice melts too quickly in my drinks, but makes additional ice quickly.

Beats going to the store and buy ice every 3 days wish it stayed colder in the ice storage area. Just need an ice bucket for the freezer overall a good product and produces ice fast

This was a gift but I was very impressed with the quality for the price. 2 sizes of ice also makes a difference. The ice is not as hard as you would expect but it does what it is supposed to and people enjoy at the house.
