TV is great for watching games or having as a backup for football season. Plus it's loaded with apps. Volume is a bit finicky, but I don't listen to football commentators anyways, so no worries. Plus it's really light weight so I can move it from pool to garage to camper to wherever.

We have had a Roku box for several years, and we have loved the flexibility it affords. Recently we decided to upgrade and this model was on sale, so we took a chance. We are very glad we did. Sharp picture, excellent sound -- and effortless internet television. Could not be more pleased.

I have always purchased other more name brand TV's. I decided to give this one a try as it's going in a garage and I must say I am very pleased. The built in wireless actually works great and the quality of the TV is awesome. Wise choice for the price.

Great TV for the value. Love the Roku. Only issue that I have with it is that it processes a little slow and there is no swivel with the stand, would be great with the wall mount. Not major issues however, I would definitely recommend it to others.

Had my doubts about splurging on a smart TV, but after a few months, I can say it's worth it. Excellent HD, so great to be able to watch Netflix, Hulu, everything on one screen, and even more amazing that you can download the remote control app and not worry about losing the remote.

After reviewing many of the people's comments about this television and it's features I purchased it. It's a great beginning set for my bedroom with a great picture and sound quality. I would definitely recommend this to anyone else. The price made it an even better choice.

I've found Best Buy branded Insignia products to offer great value and this 48" TV is no exception. First, it's packed just as well as any name brand model and is very easy to set up. Roku works flawlessly and it's so easy to switch between apps and inputs. You don't have to remember what's plugged into which HDMI port. One set up, you simply hit the home key on the Roku remote and click on the device type (e,g., game console, Blu-ray player...etc.). I had no issues with the panel. No dead pixels, lines or faults of any kind. I really like the simple remote and controls. Did I say that already? Of course because it's worth calling out twice! The only area for improvement, albeit very minor, is it takes about ten seconds to start up since there's essentially an OS running on the TV. But I'm already used to it and once started, no lag. Speaking of which, there is no noticeable lag playing console games (Xbox One), including online FPS.

My girlfriend and I were talking about redesigning our room and one of the things we talked about is getting a new TV because we had an 18inch with the back hanging out TV. I went online to see what kind of TV we should get. I already have two plasma TVs in the house and I didn't want to go all out on a TV for our room. We just wanted something that can be better than the quality we have now. We also wanted a smart TV to watch Netflix off of. I picked this TV because of the specs it offered:1080p, 60hz, 48in (was looking for a 50in), and smart capability. The color is amazing on this tv. The smart features allow me to cast some of the media from my phone, tablet, and computer to the actual tv! Which is cool because I had to watch some movie for one of my writing classes and didn't want to watch it on my computer but instead casted the media to the TV! WHICH IS AWESOME! If there is something I don't really like about the TV is the software and sound. I didn't like that I couldn't mirror the complete image of my computer, android, and tablet. The navigation through some of the menus and settings were a bit difficult. The sound is not that great but it's decent for what the price asks for. I will recommend this to anyone looking for a tv without breaking the bank. I am 23 years old and into technology so I give this a two thumbs up!

Very user friendly. Good picture and sound. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the bright blue screen that comes on after you power it on. It's probably on for 10 seconds and even with my TV on the darkest setting it burns my retina in the morning if I don't close my eyes.

Wonderful TV. Better than the plasma it replaced. Only changes I would make is the location of the volume and mute button on the remote, and adding a preprogrammed remote button to quickly jump to TV/Cable from other Roku channels.

I bought this Roku TV and received a great black Friday price from Best Buy! Very happy with this TV. I had a Roku box and have always been happy with the section and service from Roku. My TV fires up in 10 seconds and brings up an icon for each connection and access to near endless "channels" from Roku, making it very simple to enjoy programs from several sources with no hassles! The picture is great and is better than my 3 year old LG which was much more difficult to navigate or switch to different inputs. The remote is very simple but very functional! Thought I would miss number buttons...not at all. Simply arrow left and menu of channels pop-up and is very handy. Only negative is "typing" is a pain with no voice input for search without using the App. Roku has updated the firmware after my purchase and you can now even pause and rewind "Live" TV! Great TV and Great Platform in Roku!

I bought this for my basement. I do hobbies down there and couldn't see our regular tv from my table. This tv is just the right size. My only complaint is when you turn it on, you have to wait for the screen to select cable box before you can begin watching.

Overall this is a beautiful TV. There is one major caveat though: it takes the term "smart TV" to an extreme. It comes with no traditional remote control with channel numbers etc and assumes that you must have a cable box. Only the Roku style remote with a few buttons including volume. The built in Roku works just fine and auto downloads your previously downloaded Roku channels after you log in, if you had an existing account. Hooking up an Apple TV is easy, and appears as a "channel" on the Roku interface. Note that this means you do not have to constantly change HDMI "source" on the television to switch between devices. Only other con is that the TV takes at least a few seconds to turn on, without giving much feedback that it is actually doing something.

TV replaced my moms dinosaur. My mom was very opposed to this purchase. Thought the tv would be too complicated to learn. Now she loves it and can't do without it. She's able to get to her Netflix easily, and enjoy her sports games with ease. Best Buy ever

The only problem i have is that there is not a PC audio out hole so hooking up my pc surround sound system to the tv requiered a nother device. But tv speakers and color are great. and the size is perfect for my 30x30 room.

I bought this TV to use just to download movies, music, videos, for playing video games, and as a larger monitor for my computer. Have been satisfied. Only con is that remote control and not being keyboard compatible yet.

I am so impressed with this TV. I love it. I love all the cool apps. We sit around watching Youtube music videos on this all the time. I really like that you can download a remote to your phone. The remote app is much better than the included remote.

I just wanted something that was reasonable in price and quality. This TV definitely delivers that. Although the sound is not the loudest at the maximum, the picture quality is pretty good. I would recommend this TV for anyone who just wants something nice and cheap. The look is modern and sleek. Brands don't matter for me when it comes to most technology because you only tell major differences in quality when you're in the store looking at all TVs side by side being compared on display. I love my TV.
