An easy and cheap way to protect your glass from bumps without distorting picture quality.

The Insignia - 52mm UV Lens Filter - Clear offers excellent protection, is a perfect fit, is easy to attach and has a very affordable price. It protects your lenses from glare, dust, dirt and scratches. It's a "must have" to protect your lenses!!

It reduces glare and any hazing when taking photos which in turn makes for a much higher quality photo. It also does a good job of protecting the lens. Always better to replace or clean a filter than the actual lens. I go to the beach and there is always a slight breeze coming off the ocean (kicks up sand). Filters are inexpensive and a nice lens is expensive. Take the steps to protect your investment. It is good to experiment with filters and you should have multiple in your bag.

Lenses are expensive. UV and Sky filters are not. A collage professor told me to keep a UV filter on my lens when I first got my first SLR camera for this reason, and I have. During a visit to China, a firecracker threw a rock right at me and my camera. The cheap plastic filter was damaged, but not the lens. A quick change of the filter and I was back to shooting again. The filter saved a very expensive lens.

I recently bought this UV lens filter for my zoom lens on my Nikon D3300 camera....and all I gotta say is: If you want to protect your lens (which is about 200 bucks to replace) this is the way to go! I would much rather replace a 10 buck UV lens than the main glass! It does not degrade your picture quality in any way, and actually improves it in strong light

This was purchased as a gift, There is a lot of controversy surrounding UV filters and most circle around the fact which is best and if they really do anything. There are some real expensive UV filters out their and I have purchased a few but to be honest I can't really tell a difference (except to my wallet). This filter does appear to reduce te effcts of UV rays on image but more important it protects the front element from dust and weather.

Not much to really say about this filter. I haven't noticed any adverse effects with using this $10 filter, and I have them on all four of my lenses (with 5,000+ photos taken through them). If nothing else, it's a wise $10 investment as a protective shield for your lens' glass.

I bought this to protect my new lens. This filter does not affect the photographs, but is the first line of defense against scratches on the glass. Much easier to replace a relatively inexpensive filter than an expensive lens. Must have......

I love this lens! I purchased this lens for my very expensive Nikon SLR camera. This lens was inexpensive and it protects my camera lens from scratches. It is clear and my pictures come out really well with it. I love the protection it offers.

Got this at a great price. Even though it's relatively cheap, it works well. No issues with it so far. Have to be careful with how snugly you tighten it, though. Tried to take the filter off for some sunrise/set pics and had a hard time.

My daughter has a Nikon D5100 DSLR, and this fits the lenses to keep them scratch free. There are many choices out there, but a simple one like this will just simply protect your lens, which is super expensive to replace. You need this!

I read online reviews and made the decision to purchase 2 of these since I want to protect my expensive lenses. They screw onto the lens easily and can be removed and replaced for around $10, per lens filter, if damaged.

Needed a lens protector and this does the job just fine. Fits into the lens perfectly doesn't move or budge and i can still use the lens cover. I don't think it adds clarity to the picture like it says...i wouldn't get it for that reason.

For the price it great and if you damage it it 9.99. Glare reduction great picture quality excellent can see difference with lens on and off.

Provides the protection I need. I do a lot of shoots at the beach so the UV filter helps but the lens protection from sand is key.

Get one to protect your lens. Much rather scratch this filter than my expensive lens element. Insignia brand is a great valve.

This is a cheap filter that I use mainly to protect the much more expensive glass on my camera. It does the job I need it to do.

This is a good filter at a good price. I use it to protect the lens of my camera, and it doesn't degrade the photographic image.
