Great Protection
||Posted .When we recently experienced a freak power surge at our home, we had four Insignia - 7-Outlet Surge Protectors plugged in with laptops and electronics plugged into them. The surge fried four small appliances and our front-load washer. The surge protectors melted to the floor, but protected our laptops and electronics. The power company told us without the surge protectors, the back surge of power would have blown our laptops and electronics. I went out and replaced every single one with exactly the same ones I had. It was worth it.

Great at what it does
||Posted .I needed an additional outlet for my laptop and monitor, and decided to go for this as it was a decent price. As stated above, it does what it intends to do, supplying power to my electronics while providing protection against unexpected surges. It even has a feature where you can, for example, connect your computer to a master slot that controls the remainder of the slots. So when my laptop is in sleep mode or turned off, my monitor will automatically turn off to conserve power.

Good for computer users only, and that's ok.
||Posted .I was a little concerned by it's fancy feature in this power strip, seeing as I've never seen a power strip with fancy features before. I plugged my pc into the master port. This smart strip will detect that a good amount of power is being used, and will allow power to the other plugs. In my case, a monitor and some speakers. When I put my PC to sleep or turn it off, the strip notices that I'm not using the pc and will cut power to the other plugs. Thus, saving energy. Great if your using it at a desk, but I wouldn't use it with a bunch of lamps or anything. Turn off the wrong thing, and they all turn off. On the other hand, that could be cool if you want to turn on multiple lights at once :3

Power and electronics saver
||Posted .Nice feature with the green power saver - I plug my 49" 4K UHD television into the master port, then a Blu-Ray player and a Sony soundbar and subwoofer pair into the sub ports, so when I turn off the television, the other equipment linked to the master port also shut off. However, when I turn on the television, I must turn each of the sub components back on. Also, a week ago, with the torrential rain here in Houston, there was intense lightening that struck very close several times, which was deafening. I was thinking of unplugging this surge protector just in case it couldn't handle whatever might come through the line if lightening struck, but I decided to trust it and left it plugged in. In the morning I checked the television and components and everything was working just fine.

Nice surge protector
||Posted .I got this mainly for the power management feature that can link devices to each other and shut them all peripherals down if the main device is turned off. Sounded like a good way to save on my power bill. The jury's still out on that one. It would be nice though, if the outlets were spaced further apart on the strip, since if a device has anything larger than the standard 2-3 prong plug, it will block the adjacent outlets from being used. Kind of annoying.

iPad Pro: excellent (5); Activation: 0
||Posted .While the iPad Pro is an excellent product, activating it with AT&T could not be done at BB..Tech person should have asked for another SSN (last 4 char). No word from BB that we needed to go to AT&T for SIM. Phone calls with AT&T. led to nothing. Finally went to AT&T store and they activated iPad in 10 minutes.Took advantage of sale price at BB and reward points, but activation at BB and dealing with AT&T on the phone led to nothing.after two hours.

Does what it needs to do.
||Posted .At the heart of the unit it's a surge protector, but it also has master plugs which are a great feature. When I turn on my computer it senses it and powers other outlets to 'turn on'. This is a great feature as I have two additional backup drives attached and never have to power them on manually. It also provides always on outlets and this makes it a very versatile unit for a reasonable price. Highly recommened.

good product, bad color
||Posted .good power saving surge protector with master control feature. had the same product under the rocketfish brand and was very pleased so decided to get another. this model has the added function of turning off the master control which could be beneficial for some. just not thrilled about the bright white color. my rocketfish is black, and disapears nicely while this one sticks out like a sore thumb.

A Good Power Strip
||Posted .I really like these "smart" power strips that let you control the flow of electricity to your devices when they're off. This is the smallest one, and the seven outlets fill up fast, believe me. I would have liked the outlets to be farther apart -- with all the big plugs these days you can never utilize them all. Still, it's a good base model. Does as advertised.

luv it luv it
||Posted .I live in a apartment building that's kind of old and am somewhat concerned about surges even though we rarely have outtages. I like to have this one thing for all of my electrical outlets for tv s lamps electronics etc; as my stuff is protected from power surges. If you have precious electonics that you cannot afford to replace spend the $$ on the best you can get replace them once a year Believe me it is well worth it!!

Good product, with limitations
||Posted .I am using this product to protect my laptop, printer & external speakers. I found that the Master Control feature had some unintended consequences as it pertained to my wi-fi printer. While it turned off the printer as expected, when I turned the laptop back on, it did not recognize my printer. I had to restart printer & laptop manually to resolve issue.

Nice product
||Posted .I needed a new surge protector for the TV area, but didn't need a big one. This one with 7 outlets is perfect for my needs. I especially find it useful with its' "green" outlet shutoff functionality. You plug one device into the master outlet, and any other devices plugged into the green child outlets will shutoff when the master device is shut off. I also bought a second one to use for the kids' computer.

Good power strip
||Posted .Bought this power strip initially because it was the only one that had a right angle plug. The space I was using it was confined so I could have the wire stick out. This product has worked as expected. I like the switchable power saving feature for items that don't always need to be powered. Reasonable price, good buy.

Seems to do it's job
||Posted .I bought this to help protect my new gaming PC from a power surge. I've lost power suddenly a few times, with the computer plugged in and turned on, and there was no damage to it. So it seems to be doing the job well. The cord is a few feet, and is flexible enough that I'm able to wind it around furniture a bit.

Does its Job
||Posted .It does its job well. I needed a surge protector with many outlets and this works well for me. I basically got it so I would not blow up any of my expensive equipment in the event we had a power outage or a power surge. Hasn't happened yet and am praying it works should we have one.

Cool Product!
||Posted .This is an innovative surge protector. I have this setup in my living room with the tv on the master switch. All the devices I use with the tv are turned off and on when I use the tv. No more worrying about remembering to power down the AppleTV, surround sound, etc. The only improvement to be made is better spacing between

Works great
||Posted .This isn't your typical surge protector. It has this neat feature where you can plug in your tv into the main outlet. Then have up to 4 devices shutoff automatically when the main one shuts off. So now my Xbox and surround sound turn off when my tv goes off. I only have to press one button. Easy.

Power strip with Green options
||Posted .I needed a thin surge protector, and finding 1 with the option to turn off the draw to certain plugs was a pleasant surprise. This is a great way to fight back against vampires that are constantly drawing juice, even when they are off. The option to turn that feature on and off makes this protector doubly useful.

Energy saving feature a plus
||Posted .Just right for my set-up, the accessories that I only need when my TV is on automatically get deprived of power while the TV is off. But two other items plugged-in remain powered. Flat wall plug is another convenience.
