This tv is a good 4K tv. For the price it’s unbeatable. It’s does have full array back lighting but significantly less dimming zones than the Mxx8 series. The peak brightness is slightly lower too. I take this with a grain of salt since a 70 inch panel emits more overall light into a room than a 60 or 65 inch panel. The quantum colors are soooo nice. And HDR actually works. The smart apps are canned and can’t be added to from an App Store but they quick and responsive. The apps I’ve used all work great and look wonderful. Mounting this on the wall was easy but be warned this TV has some weight to it compared to my 2017 65” M Series. Overall a good tv with a bright and clear picture.

I had a plasma Tv which I loved. Watching anything with fast movement this TV can not keep up with the action. Very unhappy, I guess you get what you pay for.

Hello monk777, To make sure you’re getting the most out of you VIZIO TV, we’d recommend making sure your devices are connected with an HDMI cable, and are set to broadcast in 4K (2160p) or Full HD (1080p). You can also individually adjust your picture settings in the menu. For brighter rooms try using the ‘Calibrated’ setting, for darker rooms try ‘Calibrated Dark’. This TV is awesome! And it is huge! The Geek Squad delivered it to my house yesterday and I was able to get it setup in no time. The picture on this TV is crisp and clear. I love the smartcast, it worked way quicker than I expected it to and with zero issues. The only reason why I'm giving this 4 stars and not 5 is because the colors on this tv out of the box don't look the best. I'm still working on calibrating them correctly, but I have some work to do on it before the colors look right. Overall, I would highly recommend this TV!

The Visio M70 that you see in the store has a stunning picture that we thought was better than anything else in the price range. Bought brand new in the box, brought it home, set it up; beautiful, stunning picture quality, life-like colors, and crisp and sharp 4k detail. We were thrilled for the first year. Then, watching golf one day, I noticed a slightly dark patch on the green or fairway. It was hardly noticeable at first, then progressively got worse over the next few months, and the patch became larger. A year later, a third of the entire screen area is about 25% darker than the rest. It’s out of warranty after 12 months, which is about the time the problem showed up. Great picture for almost a year, The problem is the LED strips that illuminate the screen. Another customer review mentions the same problem, and looking on the internet, it is a common problem. Vizio wants to ignore it, and hope it goes away. Thanks Vizio.
