This trimmer is very good, probably deserving of 4.5 stars (I'll give it 5 to try and bump the average up a little). It looks gorgeous and premium with the brushed metal look on the black plastic and the LED light to shine up the length settings. Mine did come with a tiny little scratch on the face unfortunately but not a big deal. The vacuum is not actually gimmicky like I think the laser on the 9100 Series is, it is actually pretty good! It collected 85-95% of the hairs regularly. I had the Panasonic All in One before and just upgraded to this as many people do so I'll compare it to that. The battery charges fast and lasts a long time, vs half a day charging for less time from the Panasonic on its old battery tech. The comb attachment is surprisingly soft, the Panasonic always left my skin irritated after using it by pushing it in hard to get a trim, not the case with the 7200. The combs feel very sturdy and well built. The blades and motor seem much better than the Panasonic, I have to make only one or two passes instead of 5. It works amazing on a beard, and even on head hair. I know it says beard trimmer but let's be honest we're using this everywhere. It was excellent on my chest, arm pits, and everywhere above the boys downstairs. It's a little bit cumbersome around the nipples and not very good on the boys at all. This is much larger than the Panasonic and there is not a ton of room to work around down there. That's not a big deal, I'd still give it 5 stars if that was all there was to it. The biggest disappointment is that the 7200 cannot go in water. It takes 5 seconds to swish out the vacuum chamber (something I did accidentally and then questioned why I read reviews saying it was hard to clean) with water but a couple minutes to do it with the brushes provided and it's not 100% clean. As someone who likes to keep things looking immaculate, you will always have a few hairs left over in the chamber. That said, if you don't care about the looks and being 100% hair free, just dumping the chamber out and giving it a 10 second brushing will be more than sufficient and makes this a 5 star product. It really is easy to clean, it's just not easy to clean completely. It says it needs no oiling, but I'm going to use the oil from my Panasonic in a few months. I would absolutely recommend this trimmer, it's definitely a 4.5 to 5 star product.

I bought this trimmer because my old one finally broke after a few years of use. I was very sceptical about it actually catching much hair, but to my surprise it does better than advertising gives it credit. I use it for my facial hair and even my head. I would say it catches around 80-90% of the hair in the collection cup. I love it, makes cleanup only take a few seconds now. The adjustable blade guard is also very nice. It allows for you to move it it any direction without fear of going to short in any certain spot. I can't tell you how many times in a hurry I took a chunk out of my goatee with my old trimmer, I do believe that to be impossible with this one. Great design and works very well. The only thing I wish for is that it could be a tiny bit smaller. It does take up a little bit of room in my droor. More than the last one I had anyway. The battery lasts a long time though and that makes up for the size, I have trimmed for a few minutes probably 10 times so far and still haven't needed to recharge yet. Great buy

This trimmer works incredibly well. I don't shave often, so it's charge keeps for a long time. The different trim level guides are good for getting the cut I'm looking for. The vacuum is novel and seems to work well. My only complaint is that it isn't water proof. Otherwise, a good trimmer that meets all my needs.

Powerful, quiet trimmer that trims tight and even with a long run time plus can be used plugged in if battery is dead. However the vacuum chamber is hard to clean.

Trimmer cuts close and is quiet. Long battery life and can be used while plugged in. Hard to clean though.

This is the coolest trimmer that i have ever used, trimming beard is made real easy with this one, it has two trimmer blades, can be used as per your need. The smaller one offers more finer and closer trims, the larger one is more like every day use. Batter recharge life is the best, I charge once in 2-3 weeks for a moderate use, Best value for the money.

After looking up Several beard trimmers online, I settled for this one. And it has not t disappointed me yet! I like to keep a stubble and this trimmer is perfect for it. I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for an on the go beard trimmer due to its cool features as the generous run time with every charge.

This machine is great. The hair catcher works great. It doesn't catch every single tiny hair but it catches 98% of them. Cleans up easy and is quiet. Start out on a high trim setting or you will take all of it off. At least 1.5 setting. Works great as a pre razor prepper for long facial hair.

While a number of reviewers complained about the vacuum not collecting every little trimmed hair, that's a pretty impossible thing to hope for, especially if you're cutting longs hairs way down. Myself, I go for the 5 o'clock shadow look, and have been surprised by how little hair ends up in the sink if i hit my cheeks a few times a week. The trimmer is *super* easy to clean--it's not the snap of the fingers job, but again, that's wishful thinking--and the screw-to-adjust feature is great. This is by far the best beard trimmer I've owned!

This thing works great. I keep my beard trimmed very short; so I set the dial on the trimmer and basically comb my beard. It cuts smoothly and evenly, and I don't think it has ever pulled a hair, which is a pleasant surprise. The part that really surprised me: the built-in vacuum cleaner works really well. I'd say it catches about 90% of the hair. That actually saves a lot of mess. I think it's an excellent trimmer. No complaints about the battery either.

I had a older model beard trimmer but was on the market for a new one and as it happened I was in the store when I came across the Philips Norelco 7200 Beard Trimmer. The first thing I noticed was the vacuum action and it works and how many different length of cut setting it had. Very impressive and having used it a few times now the battery life is also good. a very good product, which I would recommend. The only down side maybe is the size, it is a little big, but I find this a benefit.

I have used several different Beard Trimmers but this is the best. I like the vacuum feature that creates far less mess and cleans with ease. Since I keep my hair short I use these clippers to cut my own hair as well. With many different adjustments it results in a quick and neat cut. Very pleased.

This trimmer has done me well so far. It's cuts quickly and evenly but there are a couple of things that could be improved. The trimmer head is large so it is harder to trim mustache right under my nostrils. Also the settings aren't like a traditional trimmer or clippers ( setting #2 isn't like having a #2 guard on - it is much shorter). No biggie just have to play around with it to find right setting for you. The vacuum part works well for the most part. Overall I'm happy with it.

The razor is well made and cuts well. The accessories with it work well. The integrated length dial movies smoothly and dose not slip when shaving my beard. Unlike other shavers I have owned they slip and then my beard is shorter then what I desire. The gimmicky part of the razor is the vacum to suck in 90% of the hairs you shave. When I have used it from short stuble to longer hairs i have noticed maybe 15% of the hair is sucked in. Over all this is a nice razor.

For years I trimmed my beard with a simple trimmer, which required me to clean off the sink and throw a towel over it. I also did it only once a week; with a very close beard, it showed decent growth by Friday. I finally researched modern trimmers and found this, and it's a great product that does exactly what it's supposed to do. I can trim my beard regularly and it catches all the hair, just like a regular electric razor. It's fast to use, and the battery lasts forever. I highly recommend this.

I bought this because my old trimmer from Norelco wouldn't keep the charge in the battery any longer. It was a lower model. I decided to get this because of the vacuum option. Gotta say the vacuum option works great. You'll still see some hair but compared to there old non vacuum models those is worth it. It also feels the blades are sharper and smoother. Has 20 different settings but I only use 3 or 4 max. The battery also lasts a very long time! I used it at least 4-5 time before charging it again. Worth the purchase.

I have found that I like Phillips razors the best. They last a very long time. This one was a bit different than my last unit but still does pretty good

I bought this yesterday and I am already really happy with this purchase. The product is very high quality. The design of it make it super easy to use. I really like the fact that from a one hour charge I get so many hours of use. The vacumm system works great. It definitely doesnt get every hair from my shaving but it does get most of it and saves me a lot of time cleaning up. If you have a long beard that you want to take of I would recommend removing most of it somewhere else, then use the machine just from trimming purposes. Overall, great product. Would definitely buy it again.

I love the overall function and precision of the trimmer. The charge lasts a loooong time. The only reasoning for 4 stars and not 5 is that all the accessory heads and changing them in and out is sometimes a cumbersome. Overall, that is small inconvenience compared to the high quality of the product. Plus my wife loves the vacuum on the trimmer...less mess on the sink.

The vaccum to pick the hair is great concept. Very less cleanup after using the trimmer. Battery life is good. Easy to clean.
