After I got the fan home, I discovered that it requires (and came with) a fuse (located in the plug). Also, the fan did not work; I assume the fuse was no good. I would not have purchased the fan had I known that a fuse was required. I returned the fan and got a refund.

It's not as strong as I expected but I get what I paid for. I put it diagonal from my bed (maybe 3-4 feet away) and it keeps me cool at night. It doesn't take up much space either. It does make noise (not extremely loud of anything - like white noise?) but I'm good at tuning things out so it doesn't bother me.

Only two down sides no low speed setting and the fan is a little on the noisy side if you plan to use it while your sleeping and your a light sleeper I would not recommend this for you. I had another fan just like this about 20% bigger and like 1/3 less noisy but this puts out out like 40% to 50% more cool air.
