screen is good. battery is 99% health, almost new. A little dirty when I open the box. A dent in the front and a small scratch in the side. For me, I think it worth the 100 bucks discount.

We bought this for Christmas as 'other kids' have a chromebook. We needed a new laptop for him anyway. My choice was a windows box. He said the kids are all using chromebooks. The school gave them an email id and group where they are limited on what google apps they can install in addition to docs, sheets, drive and slides. The Acer is a laptop for about $200 that needs a network and uses everything from the cloud and stores everything in the cloud. I had an issue that caused me to wipe it clean. Other than downloading a new background image, I only had to login to see everything again. No virus checker needed either. I have to admit, I am impressed with the ease of use. If only it had a trackpoint... But we added and external wireless mouse. So far so good. We finished a science fair project using all online software. No need for ms office either.

bought this chrome book for my daughter to use for her online collage classes and she just loves it,she says it's perfect for what needed with very fast internet speed and battery power that last all day and only needs to be charged every 12 hours great purchase IMO

If you are doing a lit of web based work, this is the machine for you. Noticed that the low RAM affects intensive things like working with Google Sheets with many rows, etc

I think most people would find this Chromebook to be useful for majority of things you do on a windows laptop. Loads faster, No virus problems,and longer battery operation.

I'm very happy with this Chromebook. I read a lot of reviews and this one seemed like the best of the bunch out of the larger ones. It runs fast, has great battery life and the display is super crisp. It's also very slim, light and the brushed aluminum finish looks classy. The only thing I wish it had was a backlit keyboard but it's no big deal. I couldn't be happier with this purchase!

This chromebook is more durable, has better resolution, and the battery last longer than my previous chromebook.

an ok computer if you just need to surf the web but otherwise get a Mac.

Bought this refurbished product to replace exact same model that my daughter broke 8 months after we bought it for her school BYOD . Excellent condition and price.

Bought the acer chromebook at local bestbuy, refurbished out of the box there was wear on it a scratch by the keyboard, screwdriver pry marks on by the screen bazel and a off centered LCD screen right border shows more then the left sticks out, showing it was repaired, as well as the chrome operating system was told can run android apps and all do except this model, and about the fast boot yes but all chromebooks everytime boot up chromebook must log in with a password there is no automatic login in chrome OS and the screen brightness control does not hold when turn it off, every boot up must readjust the screen brightness as well as log in will not hold settings when turned off, pros is the screen is glare free and clear other cons it is sort of slow after loading several web pages decided to return it to best buy it is over priced slow and not worth the money.
