Product Manuals
A: Chrome laptops are NOT meant to run WINDOWS Operating system. It uses Google CHROME browser as Operating System with Google Chrome online applications. Great for surfing the internet though, and you do not need to worry about updating applications or run virus protection applications. That is why it is cheap :)
Q: Can you run MS Office apps?
A: nope, cannot use MS office apps. But u can try online version of MS office. If u really need to use MS office, I do not recommend chromebook.
Q: If I buy this will it freeze when I try to upload videos and photos or play video games?
A: If you're playing games that require a lot of memory and processing power this is not the machine for you. This is mostly for browsing, email and cloud functions.
Q: Is this manufacturer refurbished?
A: Yes it is but the product was brand new. I always buy refurbished electronics and in my experience they have always been brand new items. They can be returned items or can not be sold as new for various reasons.
Q: How many pictures can it store?
A: If you use Google's Google Photos service, you can store unlimited photos, but maybe between 12 000 and 24 000 photos if you use internal memory.
Q: Does it have backlit keyboard
A: Yes, it does, switches on and off, no dimmed light option.
A: Yes, there is a camera and microphone built-in.
Q: Can Oracle virtual box be installed
A: No, you can not use virtual box.
