Good battery life, large screen, lightweight. Definitely recommend

Wife needed a laptop, but all she really uses it for is the internet. And since her e-mail is Gmail, it was a no-brainer. Instead of a cheap, tiny laptop I was able to get her this bigger Chromebook, and she loves it. It's pretty rugged, works fantastic, and we have zero complaints. If a Chromebook will work for you, this one is a great choice!

I got tired of constantly waiting for my Windows laptop to boot up, so I bought this low priced Chromebook from Best Buy. It is fast starting and perfect for web surfing and running Android apps. I recently took it on a trip and it was great at streaming video. Storage is small, but expandable with easily and commonly available micro SD cards.

Purchased this one for a Sr. relative who was repeated getting viruses & malware from the internet. She absolutely loves the screen size & the 2 large built-in speakers. Thus-far, she has not had any issues with viruses, etc. I have long been aware of this trait as this is the 4th one that I've purchased.

This laptop (chromebook) is awesome and powerful. Not to mention the size of the screen and keyboard is incredibly huge. Also, the battery life of this device, which can last up from 10 to 13 hours is something very cool. I highly recommend this device to anyone looking for a laptop with durability and stability.

Purchased this for my dad after his old laptop crashed. Easy to use and lightweight. Also like the fact that virus protection isn't needed due to the design. If you are looking for something for the elderly or just need something to surf the web then look no further.

I’ve only had this chrome book 2 weeks and so far it’s worked pretty good. It’s worth the money I spent. Not like my old laptop but works for my needs. I really like having the bigger screen vs chrome books with 11-inch screens. It’s an affordable option for your basic needs.

I picked this chromebook up at my local Best Buy store when my laptop started to malfunction and had to be sent in for repair. Not only is the price point great for this product, it responds super fast. Additionally, the speakers are fantastic, very loud. Definitely a keeper!

This is my first Chromebook. The product itself works very well, and the simplicity of not having to worry about updating and security is a wonderful benefit. The inexpensive display is somewhat sensitive to viewing angle to get the best image, but is not a barrier to normal use. Since the operating system is in the cloud, it requires you to log into your gmail account every time if you shut down the computer. If you leave it on and close the lid, it will open up without logging in. If you shut down the PC after each use, and if you have a complicated gmail password, reentering the password each time can be annoying. If you use Office applications like Word, Google Docs has apps that allow you to read, create or modify documents without having to have Microsoft Office software. Because of the cloud based operating system, there is a delay of a couple seconds each time you delete an email. Still, for the price, this is a great PC.

Just what I wanted. Easy to use. Great value for your money. It has a wonderful picture and is very responsive. I would definitely recommend this Chromebook for anyone. I mostly use it to watch videos, check Facebook and my email. I haven't had any problems so far.

OMG wish I tried a chromebook years ago! It is the way to go for "not technical" and elderly folks. This Acer was chosen for the larger screen it has. Only drawback might be the sound/volume is a bit low for hard of hearing folks. Very happy with the unit and the price is crazy cheap,

This Chromebook was a great purchase; on sale for an affordable price, it is small and light enough to use all over the place. Very easy to use, and a keyboard large enough to maneuver around easily. Very happy to have bought this when my last laptop stopped working.

Priced and created for regular people who are not gaming addicts. Perfect for creating documents, papers, letters, spreadsheets, etc. Very easy to use, long lasting battery, great screen size. easy to type on the keyboard, good resolution on the screen. We have two!

Great,easy to use, beautiful design, long lasting battery. But, be really careful with the screen. Is really, I mean really fragile. I left my pen on the key board and close it by mistake, and bam cracked screen. Just 3 days after purchasing. Smh Money wasted.

I purchased this for one of my employees and she is extremely happy with the Acer. She loves the versatility of the touch screen. She is able to go from one function to the other without losing performance or speed. It's a great looking laptop with good pep.

It does what it says it's supposed to do, if you just need something to get on the internet and watch some you tube videos and have gmail then this is the best priced option for you.. The screen is hugh and lasts for 9 hrs. I love this computer for surfing...

I purchased this to replace the smaller earlier version of the Chromebook. Both have served my very well. If you're just looking for access to the internet, do some shopping, pay your bills, etc. this is a great option. Great speed and very easy to set up.

Bought a Dell Inspiron and dislike the Windows 10 operating system. This Acer Chromebook is 10 times faster, does not crash and a delight to use. The Dell is just a terrible computer in comparison. Even the battery life is pretty good.
