    I purchased this refurbished model for work to use for online acccess to web based application. Boots up fast, good battery life, and size is perfect to carry on the go.

    Firstly, when I opened this product it looked brand new. I know that's the point of certified refurbished, but I was blown away that I couldn't find one scratch, or even a smudge! Most pieces were still in plastic wrap. This was $100 cheaper than the new in box version, so I feel this is the best value. On to the system itself, I've been an owner of MacBooks, Gaming laptops, and low end budget computers. Bang for the buck, I trust my Chromebooks. For $200 (before tax) I get an aluminum textured finish on the casing, 4GB of RAM which is plenty for majority of web-based applications, and 32GB of storage which is enough for a Chromebook that is designed to be used "on WiFi". The display is great, and the glossy finish is attractive, but of course a fingerprint magnet. Basic processor, but plenty of power for ChromeOS. Overall, for a school computer, or internet surfer, it's a great deal and quality build.

    I love the different functionalities. Being that it was a first computer for my kids it is perfect as they love that it coverts to a tablet. the size is great for them to carry along with them. and the Quality and price are great too.

    I purchased the Acer chromebook to give me a portable option to write and research information. I got a lot more than that. Be able to install and use android apps has opened up the chromebook for so much more.
