I've only used my Acer Aspire for two weeks and haven't had any problems. It was fairly easy to setup and get operational. I like the size, style, speed, keyboard layout, monitor resolution, and wireless functions (internet, email, printers, etc). I will provide a more detailed review after I've used the computer for a while longer - like a year or so.

Great buy for a laptop, easy to set up, good price, I particularly like the fact that this unit still offers Windows 7 as I have another laptop that uses Windows which confuses the heck out of me, and that was the primary reason that pushed me to purchase this new unit.

This laptop is great. It has a full keyboard along with camera and microphone. So far no problems with it at all.

I like this computer, and the performance and display are great. The only down side for me is the orientation of the keyboard. I always expect the mouse pad to be centered, and is is to the left. Also, the orientation of the home, end, page up and page down keys are not idea. These aren't a big deal, but it is definitely something that throws me off a bit when I transition between my work computer and this one at home.

Love this laptop,really sets up fast and response is good.It has windows 7 which is great windows 10 on first one i bought, was horrible so i returned it and bought this one with windows 7.Best buy shoud make more 7 models available and fight back against 10 which is horrible.

Got this for college work. It does great. It does everything I need it to do.

Inexplicably, the screen will freeze and I'll need to go back a page and start over whatever I was doing. The pointing device will open a page on its own if I simply pass over it on my way to another item I would like to open. As this occurs frequently, it costs me a significant amount of time in the aggregate. More annoying is that the cursor will jump either up or down when I am typing text. When this occurs, I need to check the location of the error, delete it, and retype the information where it needs to be. Another time waster. I could use cut/paste, but the erroneous typing often happens in the middle of an already typed word and it is easier to restart than to try and tease out the error from the original word. I had a previous Acer and had high hopes for this one, but I'll never buy the brand again. Indeed, if I could exchange the machine for another, I would do so without hesitancy.

I love my Acer laptop - so easy to set up - dependable product.

So far I love my Acer. Love that I could get Windows 7. Did not want 8. I have a Acer netbook and am very happy with it. That is one of the reasons I purchased the laptop.

We've purchased two other Acer laptops that have been good so we purchased another. One is used for working remotely and the other a student. We went with what's been working.

Have only had the Acer for a short time but so far I am completely satisfied. It is a great value. Very user friendly. I am a preschool teacher and like the ease of use for pictures.

I wanted a Windows 7. I tried a Windows 8 and it was awful.

Sound is terrible, be prepared to put speakers on.

Just needed something to do pretty minimal computing

My company uses this computer for our supervisors on job sites. It's easy to use for email and quickly looking up information.

Bought this laptop for our son for collage. Everything he needed at a great price.

The Acer brand is the only one so far that hasn't broken within a year. I had my old Acer for 6+years, and loved it. This new Acer is everything I needed in a computer and then some. Its sleek, lightweight design makes it perfect for me. I love the numeric keypad,, and the ease of typing. The touchpad is a little sensitive, but I'll get used to it. Overall, an amazing product.

Purchased laptop for my wife for internet access and letter writing. System was slow and locked up frequently. After 28 days, the hard drive crashed. Returned unit and will purchase a different brand.

Bought this for my sister as an early Christmas gift, she loves it! It's perfect for school work and fits all of her music/movie needs. She's strongly opposed to Windows8 so finding a laptop with Windows7 was essential to me and this fits the bill.
