Perfect display and good performance, but it runs too hot. Even at idle, the keyboard gets hot. Compared to my previous laptops, when I lifted them off the desk, the surface underneath would usually feel very hot. However, with this laptop, the surface it sits on doesn’t get very warm. This made me wonder if there might be a design issue with how the heat is being dissipated. The fans seem to be working fine, and setting the fan speed to maximum does help with temperatures, but even then, when the laptop is idle, I would expect it to feel noticeably cooler but that doesn’t seem to be the case here. The fans do blow warm air, but it feels like the cooling system isn't as effective as it should be. The warm air, especially near where I hold the mouse, can get uncomfortably hot. The speakers feel like they were added just because they had to be; they are very entry level. I have no complaints about fan noise, though. I’ve used much worse in that regard. Considering the price, it’s a nice laptop, but I’m not sure how long it will last with this level of heat.

Excellent value gaming laptop. Battery life isn't great, but let's be honest, you probably aren't getting this to game on the battery while on the go. The 5070 Ti and 240hz OLED monitor pair beautifully. The Intel Core i9 275HX processor is also a beast. Definitely worth picking up if you can get it on sale!

The performance on the laptop is like nothing I've experienced on a laptop. When you couple the raw performance with DLSS 4, its just crazy. The screen is gorgeous and I'll never get another laptop without an OLED display, its that good.
I've had a couple games crash on me randomly....not really a crash but they started to stutter really bad. It was fixed by restarting the game and doesn't seem to be a pattern. Hoping its not a heat issue. Speaking about heat, with the fans a full speed, this thing is LOUD. As long as there is no overheating issue, this thing is gold - especially at this price point.

Extremely good laptop, it’s powerful and doesn’t overheat much. Since it’s a gaming laptop, don’t expect to last very long on battery, and to get its full performance you will need to play plugged in. But it’s for gaming, not office work, and it’s a total beast with gaming, and it has a beautiful screen and really good keyboard. At this price range it is definitely the best gaming laptop you can get.

I really like the 16s beautiful oled display, great performance and great design. But ill give it a 3 star just for one reason, the battery is really bad even in this new model. The refresh rate is looked at 240hz and can not be charged. draining the extra battery even in silent mode with low brightness, no rgb light on etc. I have and had orhe 16s laptop and this by far the worst battery. If you can leave with that is a great laptop.

Really smooth and great for gaming and work. The 240 hz looks great, but you can not lower this option, so you lose a ton of battery pretty easily. Thats it

This is the best gaming laptop with 5070ti for this price. Light and powerful. The screen is wonderful. battery time is sick, but fair for this weight and power

This laptop is FAST! I use it for flight simulation with no issues at all. Many ports and it’s lightweight. I also use it for programming and have not had any issues with office applications.Time will tell if this was a great purchase for about $1500.00.

Great laptop! My first ever gaming/work laptop and I couldn’t have asked for a better laptop man and with such a great Black Friday deal, it was easy to make my purchase. Once again though, great working, beautiful laptop, and the predator service is super responsive to my needs. Thanks for helping me out on another Black Friday Best Buy! :D
(battery life is low, but that’s how some gaming laptops are and gaming laptops, this one in particular, are supposed to stay on charge especially when gaming. So I will put my review for battery life as a 3 star as I would like for people to review my review and do the necessary research before purchase and help ‘em out)

I've had this laptop for about a month now and it certainly lives up to expectations. It's fast and smooth, the picture quality is fantastic. It can run every game I've tried so far without issue. If you are actively gaming, the battery will drain quickly (~45 mins-an hour of battery life), which is expected.
Overall, I highly recommend this product.

Amazing gaming machine for such a good price. Got it while it was on sale for $1450. The OLED screen looks so good, plenty of RAM, and very powerful cpu/gpu combo. I was pleasently suprised by how light weight it is and the build quality is actually pretty nice. May not be G14 quality, but for $600 less (with practically the same specs) i am not complaining. Battery life does suffer do to unchangeable refresh rate, but an update could change that in the future. You will not be dissapointed with this laptop for whatever your needs are!

This laptop is a great powerhouse. gaming, school work, it runs so much faster than our MSI that it replaced. We have had it 1 month and it is great. the only thing to be aware of is the keyboard placement is a little tricky to get used to. When I use my son's laptop I really struggle with getting used to typing etc on it. but a kid that uses it every day will adjust faster.

This gaming laptop is a machine designed for serious gaming, not just for "running games." The design reflects this focus: solid construction, good ventilation, and a well-balanced mix of gamer aesthetics and understated elegance. It doesn't scream "lights" everywhere, but it definitely exudes power.
Gaming performance is outstanding. Current titles run smoothly at high settings, maintaining stable FPS rates even during long sessions. The CPU and GPU combination is well-tuned, with no noticeable bottlenecks, resulting in a consistent experience in both competitive shooters and demanding AAA games.
The screen is one of its greatest strengths. It boasts a good refresh rate, which is immediately noticeable in fast-paced games: smoother movements, better responsiveness, and a clear advantage in competitive titles. Colors are vibrant, and the contrast is well-balanced, making games feel immersive without sacrificing sharpness. As for temperatures, the cooling system performs adequately. It does get warm under load—like any gaming laptop—but maintains performance without aggressive throttling. The fans are audible when necessary, but they do their job: prioritizing stability over silence, which is exactly what you'd expect in this segment.
The keyboard is clearly designed for gaming. It offers good key travel, a firm response, and a comfortable layout for long sessions. The trackpad takes a backseat, as it should on a gaming laptop, although it's still responsive enough for everyday use.
The battery life is adequate for light tasks, but realistically, this machine is built to be played while plugged in. And when it is, it delivers its full potential without reservation.

This laptop is a insane value for what they give you. The RAM isn't bad at all with two 16GB sticks - 32GB CL52-51-51 @ 6400mhz-. She does get hot, and loud with Turbo mode but, that's to be expected running an i9 Ultra 256k and a 5070Ti. I would not play high graphics games while having on my lap lol. Though the display might make ya bc the image is CRISP!!!! I ABSOLUTLEY recommend!

If you're looking for a gaming laptop this is probably the most ideal for performance and price. I also use this laptop for work related and have not had a single problem. My only complaint would be the battery life but if gaming the battery will drain fairly fast depending on settings. As far as work related or school related the battery is fine.

This is a very good entry-level gaming computer great specs performs well stays cool the fan is louder than an airplane taking off so I had to return it and went with Lenovo Legion 5080 model which is more expensive but you pay for the price in longevity, build quality and durability and all specs overall, but if your looking for a budget this is the best bang for buck gaming PC that holds up with competition of the other brand names go with this one!!

Good laptop overall. I was between the legion 7i and this one. I got the acer just because it had better specs. Yes it has some problems like not being able to change the Hz and overheating sometime but I think it’s worth it for the price.
