Customers recognize the Predator XB272 monitor's exceptional picture quality and high refresh rate as significant strengths, leading to overwhelmingly positive feedback for gaming experiences. Many appreciate the G-SYNC compatibility and vibrant colors, while the sturdy stand also receives praise. However, some users point out that the speakers are subpar and the price may be considered high by some. A few isolated reports mention minor issues such as dead pixels, but these appear to be less frequent.

When it loads up Warzone, it's in the highest quality available. I was shocked by the quality of the game. It's definitely 10/10 for me. G-Sync is easy to set up. 240 Hz monitor is definitely a lot better than the 144hz monitor. You won't regret it.

A beast of a monitor. Very very bright, great colors, and the 240hz 1ms response time is just another great addition. No ghosting that j can see and not much color fringing. The speakers are worse than the Nokia your mother had in 2001

Fastest Frame Rates for Fort Nite and other games!

Got this to go with my gaming iBuy Power Desk top. I love the way it can be moved up and down as well as side to side on the stand. The stand was super simple to assemble no tools required. While playing FortNite the frames shown were so fast that it had a huge advantage over other players because my son could see what was on the screen before anyone else did and when he went to shoot an opponent they just stood there because they couldn't see him and he got more wins than ever right out the gate. Thank you Hector at Geek Squad for all the great advice. If you are serious about gaming then please buy the best monitor which is this screen. All the players kept asking about they type of equipment that was being used because they were so impressed.

Alienware vs Predator X2

The best monitor I have personally owned. It comes with amazing display settings and Nvidia G-Sync is prime. It is intuitive and easy to use, HDMI and DPI for all your needs (no VGA for you old school cats). It has a built in "hydraulic" on the base, so raising and lowering it has never been so easy or comfortable to do, the screen tilt is also an essential feature to control glare if you work/play by windows. Bought this alongside my Alienware Aurora R7, the worst PC I have ever owned. Turns out Predator beats Alien here. I'd never buy another Dell product (Alienware), but I'll keep coming back to Acer for sure!
4 stars on ease of use, due to the joystick like toggle on the back of the monitor that isn't as intuitive as traditional buttons for changing settings, but innovative nonetheless.

I really wish that the difference between HD, FHD, and, UHD.
As far as quality, I got it on sale so it was worth it to me. But. It is FHD which means its the best 1080 picture there is. But for the full price it is worth it to go get a 2k monitor.

Going with the 27” was the best idea I had. The G-sync features are flawless and allows for ultra smooth viewing. Built in fast USB charger was a plus. Easy to adjust settings and presets are nice. Being able to fully adjust monitor position allows me to view monitor from any seating position. Speakers are terrible but I knew that going in and use a headset all the time anyway.

Three words: Gsync & Refresh Rate
If you have a Gforce graphics card (1060, 1070, 1080 etc) this monitor makes the difference. Not only will the software make your games look more beautiful and run smoother, but you will have the option to go from 60 hrz to 240!

For $550 the price is steep; however, the overall quality of the monitor is well worth the price. I used to use an ASUS 24" 144Hz monitor and having the extra screen space is a luxury. Haven't gotten around to overclocking the refresh rate but it synergizes well due to GSYNC tech to my GTX card! Having the 2 USB pass-throughs is extremely nice for someone who doesn't have a USB hub.

This is best investment with any pc gaming setup. I was running an LG 34" ultrawide 144hz before the Acer xb272. What a huge and noticeable improvement with the Acer xb272. No more screen tearings or ghosting. Every image is crisp and fluid. Right now I'm mostly playing Fortnite and my K:D ratio has improved now that I can hit my shots a lot easier.
I also had a chance to play on the Alienware 240hz. Great monitor as well. Personally it was little small. Colors weren't as great compared to acer xb272. Viewing angle on the xb272 is far better than the Alienware.
My computer specs consist of i5 8600k, 16GB Trident 3600mhz, Asus Stris 1080ti. This monitor compliments my setup.
If you're serious about gaming and your system specs are too notch, dont like it yourself with 144hz or lower. Get the one of the best performance monitors available right now with the xb272.

Bought this to help with eye strain while gaming. 240hz at 60+ FPS is easily the smoothest gaming experience I've ever had. The response time is fantastic. I highly recommend this monitor for anyone who is serious about PC gaming.

Bought this monitor for my grandson as a replacement to use with his gaming computer. This one was an easy setup, is adequate in size, lightweight, has good color, and provides an eye protection filter. I would recommend this product.

Love this thing, only complaint I have is...it took a week to get a price match guarantee refund when the price dropped. If it had been quicker, I would have bought a second when it was on sale to have a two screen display.

I picked this up when it was on sale. I love that it has a lot of adjustment options (height/swivel/tilt). The base is quite heavy, so it's not one to get if you plan on moving where it's placed a lot.
One thing to note is that there's a 1/4 inch or so area on the top and sides of the screen where there's no frame, but where the screen itself is black. I've seen something similar before on other monitors, where in those cases it was a problem with the settings and the image not filling up the whole screen. On this monitor, it appears that's just how it's designed, and the measurement of the screen size is only the viewable part (not counting the extra black border). I wish the description had been more clear on this, since I wasted at least an hour trying to correct a problem that wasn't actually a problem.

Easy to setup out of box. Picture is great, as expected. Overpriced. You can find similar features about 15-20% cheaper from other brands. You’re paying for the extra here for the Predator name. Won’t regret it if you buy it, but if you’re on a tight budget, look elsewhere and save yourself the $100+ On different brand.

The XB272's layout is pretty typical, with onscreen display controls on the back right. The buttons are a little flat and hard to feel, but they're supplemented by a joystick that makes it much easier to navigate the menus than typical up- and down-arrow buttons. You can map two of the buttons directly to menu options, a nice perk.
It has a reasonably broad set of options. Among the various presets there are three gaming-specific ones that change the brightness, refresh rate and white point settings. There's also a selection of three optional target overlays, adaptive contrast, and a decent set of display options for color and brightness.

Excellent choice, even those, I think my wife is right, that screen was kind of overboard, way to expensive and to big for kid our son's age. Works great, no complaints about anything at all.
