Acer - Nitro 27" FHD 200Hz 0.5ms FreeSync Premium IPS Gaming Monitor (1x DisplayPort, 2x HDMI) - Black

I'm coming from a 60Hz, TN panel from over a decade ago, and this new monitor absolutely smashes it. Significantly less motion blur, and the extra 140hz compared to my old monitor really help! I find it way easier to see my adversaries in online game, even though the resolution is the same, it feels much clearer. I want to make it clear, though, that your PC probably won't play *every* game at 200 frames per second. Games like Team Fortress 2, Overwatch, Fortnite, Counter-Strike 2 and Deadlock, you can hit 200 no problem as long as your computer's reasonably high-end. With games like Cyberpunk 2077, Death Stranding and Pragmata, though, you're gonna struggle to reach that unless you've got an oil baron's computer, and if you have that, you should look into a more expensive monitor with a higher resolution. High refresh rate gaming is really nice, as someone who has rarely ever experienced it until now.

I bought this as a second monitor for my battle station to replace an aging ViewSonic which was needed on another system. For that reason I only needed 1080p. This monitor makes for an amazing second (or first budget) monitor. Colors are vivid and contrast is outstanding. Swivel from portrait to landscape is easy (another requirement I needed.) However, in portrait mode it is obvious the backlighting on this model fades out near the edges. It's not that big a deal, but it definitely darkens. Pros: Price point, Vivid colors & contrast, Portrait/Landscape swivel, HDMI + DP. Cons: 1080p max, backlighting fades near the edges.

Really impressed with this Acer Nitro 27” monitor. The image is clear and sharp, and the colors look great right out of the box. The high refresh rate makes everything feel super smooth, especially in games, and there’s no noticeable blur or tearing. Setup was quick and painless, and the stand feels sturdy without taking up a ton of desk space. It works great for both gaming and everyday use, and the size is the sweet spot for sitting at a desk. For the price, it’s honestly hard to beat — big upgrade over my old screen. Would definitely buy again.

This monitor is unmatched for the price. Great for gaming with high refresh rates, and 1080p for the best performance. It will completely change your setup, and improve your gaming experience. I wouldnt go much bigger in 1080p though, you will start to notice the lower quality.

Great monitor!!! Bigger than I thought lol…. graphics are very crisp, speed is great, never once had an issue and I’ve had it for a year. Definitely recommend it as a good monitor for gaming or any work needs. Very easy set up and use!
