Un expensive and does an excellent job. i have two for different locations within my house. i thought the speedtest.net or the pingtest.net would show me lower results compared to be directly connected to the router, but for my surprise, same results. I get the full 59 MBs i get from my ISP, and still grade A. I'm using it not that close to the router and it never drops connection. my electric wiring is about 35 years old, but it doesn't look like affecting it at all. I'm a happy user.

Product works as advertised. From an internet speed connection, using it is definitely better than utilizing my wireless signal (which is strong), but not as good as a direct ethernet connection to my modem/router. Great for folks who want the capability to connect to the internet from any room in the house WITHOUT the need to worry about dealing with a home wireless network.

This product is easy to setup. The internet is fast on places that your Wi-Fi can't be reached. Good for devices with no Wi-Fi built in.

This is great. I do not have to have my TV's as wireless and sometimes buffer. With this connected I get a smooth connection. I definitely recommend this product.

This was a waste of money. It doesn't matter where I plug this in, it doesn't work as advertised.

Hello, I bought a new home and several of the rooms were wired. I also own a Netgear NightHawk 7000 which works great, but my new home is a large two story building and I also wanted connectivity in the garage. I bought this + the 4 port one and plugged them in and bingo they worked perfectly. I use it for my father and my wife so they can watch Netflix, HuluPlus etc. My actual configuration is Cable Modem --> NightHawk Wireless --> one line to my QPanel and one line to my 24 Port Hub I plugged one *powerline near my 24 port hub and bingo it works perfectly One thing to note... I actually had two TradNet ones first because they were being used for another item... When I bought these I thought I had to plug the new single port ActionJet near my router so I could plug it in there... Doing so actually broke my network because having TWO power adapters (even from different companies) didn't work well.. So what's the good news??? I actually use my TradNet one on my router and I used the second single port ActionJet on another device... seems they are compatible even though they are different companies. WOOT bonus for me. Truly love them.. Plug and Play my XBOX One, PS3/4 and TV love it... seriously a great buy

Works great but too sensitive to power spikes

I have used these for years but the life expectancy is highly variable. I have one unit that is several years old. I have had some that died in a matter of days because of power spikes. If you live in area where power spikes are common, beware. The smallest blip can destroy one of these in a hearbeart. Not sure why they are not better protected, especially since you cannot plug them into a surge suppressor. They will not work. Also, be aware the rated speeds are fiction. You will never got 200mbs or 500mbs. You will be lucky to get more than 50mbs regardless of the rating by Actiontec. But a good option if you cant get a solid wifi signal or your device does not support wifi. And you don't have the power spike issue.

    Not Bad

You do lose some speed over power line vs. straight ethernet, but not too bad I guess
