I tried netgear products for wifi networks and they all failed miserably. The Actiontec adapter was super easy to install and link to the computer and does not shut down or have to be reset like the netgear. It also increased download speed over the netgear adapter. If you are looking for an affordable and dependable adapter this one works great for us.

I was having issues with the lag for bo3 on my xb1 and this definitely solved my problem. I was not able to run a direct line from my router to my Xb1 so this was the next best thing. Very easy to use, and smaller than I thought it would be so thats a plus also. My only issue is that it does get very hot.

I had no idea this product existed. I needed something for my basement audio system as my router is upstairs and too much distance between my router and entertainment system for an ethernet cord. I found this item, figured I would give it a shot. Set-up is extremely easy. And it works! Haven't had a problem!!

I was getting slow speeds on the PS4. The PS4 wouldn't detect any 5ghz bands and the 2.4ghz wifi speeds were not cutting it. This resolved it. Its literally plug and play. No setup to your router or anything. Went from getting 2mbps on wifi to 30 mbps using this powerline adapter.

I will preface this with the fact that this is my first set of Powerline Ethernet adapters I've ever used at home. I converted my house to CAT5e/CAT6 and wanted to use RJ45 for my AT&T Uverse DVR and tuner units. My coax has been deteriorating over the last 2 years. At my TV/AV area of my living room, I do not have RJ45 connections & could not run it down the wall due to the way the roof & outside walls are oriented (did not want to drill another hole). A good alternative was to try this ActionTec set since they are cheaper than the Netgear & other units. These were literally plug and play, however you get the dreaded Amber link light if you do not have both units on the same electrical circuit. (Also per the directions, do not plug into a surge suppressor power strip, it will degrade performance). If you put them in separate rooms (on separate circuit breakers), the speed will shift-down to <25Mbps which is not suitable for DVRs (30-35+ Mbps) and the link is horrible. Anyway, I put them in the same room (one placed where there is an RJ45, and the other on the other side of the room in the same electrical circuit. It works great! I can watch TV, stream Netflix and play XBox without compromising speed! I highly recommend these.

THese worked great. Very easy. Plug and play. Plug them in and your done. Wish I Had only gotten the 200 mps ones as my house wiring only netted me under 100MPS. There is also a color coding to the connection rate, which is not in the manual, and I had to call to ask what it meant. Green equals 300-500, yellow 100-300, and orange under 100. I got orange everwhere in my house. worked great oncei figured them out, plenty fast enough for the blue ray player, and 5 ip cams I have connected to them.

I bought these since my ISP only has 1 room of my house internet ready and its completely on the other side of the house so my WiFi doesnt reach very good. Anyway, upon hooking these up, which was very easy, i noticed a slight boost in internet speeds compared to my low WiFi signals. Later the same evening, the plug-in closest to my router kept blowing the breakers for that specific room. Tested further and it came down to the powerline adapters. Returned item.

If all you need it one wire from your router to the attic, this powerline network kit does the job! It's fast, super easy, and reliable. My biggest concern is when I wanted to use a few of these kits from within the same home. It seemed like there was no way to pair these to one another so that network traffic wouldn't go to the wrong device (which happened!). Overall, great product!

Have a small office area set up in our garage with a computer that does not have a wireless card, had an older netgear adapter which died, so we purchased this to replace it. It's faster and was easier to install than the old netgear one we had and it's a much smaller unit. Works great. We also purchased a 4 port set to use for our tv and dvd that does not have wireless. I really like the fact that we can use multiple sets throughout the house to connect equipment in various rooms. These provide a fast, reliable connection. I even sometimes use it instead of wireless for my laptop because of the interference we have in our area because there are so many overlapping wireless networks. Installation is very simple, just plugin and connect the ethernet cables and you're done.

So far so good. Use it on my TIVO for internet access. Had to move to many different outlets because it kept turning itself off. As of now, fingers crossed, it has worked flawlessly. For the price I am pleasantly surprised that it works so well once I have gotten the bugs out. I also have a set of another brand that I paid almost twice as much for, and I have to say for the money this appears to be just as good a purchase. Again fingers crossed.

I needed a wired connection in my basement, and these units were easy to connect. I plugged one unit into the electrical outlet and router upstairs, and then plugged the 2nd unit into the electrical outlet and the computer in the basement. The computer was on the internet in less than 15 min. Speed on the internet is good, not quite as fast as the desktop connected directly to the router, but fast enough for youtube and web surfing. The best part, I did not have to run a wire. In larger houses that have different electrical sub-panels or circuits, you may have problems. The units have to be plugged into the same electrical wiring for the data to get from one unit to the other. Over all very happy.

Bought it to wire my Xbox with Internet to play cod. My wireless reception wasn't able to keep up with reception needed for live playing, this solved the problem, it makes my Xbox run like its directly wired to my router. If u don't want to run 200' of a cable directly to ur Xbox/ laptop this is a great solution.

Very easy to use and works like a charm. I simply plugged cables in both units then plugged them into the wall. I now have reliable steady Internet access. Much easier than befor using a wireless adapter for a desktop computer.
