There was not any noticeable speed increases when using these. Called tech support and was told that there were breakers in between the outlets where each piece was installed. Tried many outlets and still the same. Steer clear

First I have been using my electric power for internet wiring for close to 7 years, and I needed a replacement for my TurboSlinkLinks.
The ActionTec were at the right price point, plus they supported higher speeds.
This product "plugged" right in and I was up and running in minutes. And their small profile makes them easy to conceal.

The adapter hub was simple to connect. Just plug in and wallah, it works. I used this to create an Ethernet port for my receiver where there was none.

I tried to use the Ethernet adapter in an upstairs room while the router was placed downstairs, but could not get a strong enough signal for video on my slingbox.

I bought this to connect some devices that were at the other end of my house where I don't have an ethernet cable pulled. It worked at first just great. Then it just stopped. I spent a 30 minutes on a support chat with a tech that could barely speak english.
She kept trying to tell me that the problem was my ISP.

I tried to connect my smart tv with WiFi just to see if the adapter would be faster than the WiFi, butbit wasn't. Still a great option if you don't have WiFi.

If you have troublesome spots, holes, or gaps in your home Wi-Fi this can be all or part of the answer. Can be used in conjunction with a second router to expand your witless footprint to include bed rooms or wings that your main router can't reach.

I followed the quick install paperwork and had internet access within minutes. This in an area where my wifi coverage was poor. Connect the main unit to your router and the secondary unit next to the device you want to control. Instant internet.

Not a fit for use with a Lorex security camera sys

I purchased the Powerline Ethernet Adapter and 4-Port Hub so that I could connect my Lorex security camera 8-port switch AND my NVR to a wireless access point. It worked good for one of the devices, but not two. The instructions say that it is good for only one device. I didn't realize that the 9 camera Lorex system required TWO connections to the wireless access point. Their documentation didn't make that clear.

This is a good EOP Adapter but the speed crawls when you stream multiple things at once. Good for what it is though.

Easy installation Pricey, getting IP address could be tricky. Definitely there is room for improvement with this product.
