I use the this product a lot to check the connection.

Simple, works like it should. plug and play its easy

I bought this product as my wifi signal was weak in the basement where my home entertainment sits. It has drastically improved consistency. I get 13 MBPS at the location on my 105 MBPS Comcast connection. It only buffers rarely when I stream hi def movies on Plex requiring over 8 MBPS. Netflix, Hulu and Amazon work smooth. So I am satisfied to keep the product. I deducted 2 stars as the speed is still marginal to what my wifi can do at other parts of the house.

I needed a solution to run a couple of game consoles in my basement, a place where wifi goes to die. I was skeptical that the device would work, but did not want to run over a 100' of ethernet to my consoles. Extremely easy set up, came with 2 short ethernet cables. Simply plugged ethernet from modem to device, plugged device into outlet, and connected consoles to the device. I ran a speed test on PS3, wireless was 2.6 mbps. The wired connection tested at 19 mbps, success!

We enjoy watching streaming video on our smart TV. Our home wireless network didn't provide the type of connectivity we needed. And we couldn't collocate the router and TV. Looked at wireless network extenders, but was skeptical. This device is virtually a hardware approach. Installed it (a couple minutes), opened NetFlix and wow, what a difference! Not a single connectivity or performance issue since. Continue to be concerned that the device is not intended to function properly when surge adaptors/power strips are used. Actiontec advised that device could be destroyed by a power hit, but the TV, etc would be OK if on a power strip. Cheap and easy to replace. I'll live with the risk.

needed to get my son connected without wifi for gaming. set up was a snap and performance is great. would recommend to anyone needing to get network connection without using wifi.

Product worked as expected and is simple to use. The provided network speed was good but not as fast as I expected.

I had one break down on me but Best Buy replaced it. Other than that, I have been using it for 2 years and am very happy. I just bought another one to expand.

Used this to have my Roku (Hardwired) to the Router since the router is a little far to use via wifi. Streams and works very well with Netflix / Hbo Go. Works great!

This is a much cheaper and quicker way to get modem like access anywhere in your house instead of either calling the cable company to install or installing another cable hook up yourself. I went from 6.2 mps to 20 mps and I had the wifi extender in the room.

Build quality is great and units are a nice size. Product works 100% with no issues. My electrician said our home had its electric last upgraded I'm 1996 so I was unsure if this would work, but I had no issues. Speed was 90% of what I get at modem.

i needed additional wired connections for my home. Had heard mixed reviews about wireline networking, but decided to give it a try. have been using this as a wired connection for multiple game systems and it works great. consistently get maxed internet speeds on each unit plugged in through this unit. I believe you need to be on the same circuit in order for this to work. Otherwise great way to add additional wired connections without running wires through your home

Good product - solves a real problem by using power lines for network cabling. Bought 2. One died after only a month - simply wouldn't power up.

I used Best Buy price match to get the same price as B&H Photo. These were already rated high. I purchased the set, plugged them in, and I was ready to go. I highly recommend them.

only draw back is after a power outage the moden/router did not recognize the computer connected through this product, had to set up again.

Because of the construction of our home,sometimes our downstairs computer connected poorly. This adapter made a big improvement.

I've used something like this before from Amazon but got lousy results. This one was really simple to set up and the speed is fantastic.

My kids were always complaining about the wifi not working on the Xbox once this was hooked up no more complaints.

This is a great solution to extend your network in your house. It works flawlessly, the only down side is bandwidth speed is reduce almost by half. So if you have plenty of speed it won't really matter.
