if it wasnt for the bogo i would not have purchased

To much emphasis on special effects. Not very good

It was a hard choice to choose between 3 or 4 stars. I chose 4 stars due to the original content/plot of the movie. It's worth a one time watch but I do not think I'll watch it again any time soon.

I really enjoyed this movie as a sci-fi fan!! Pacing is probably slow for some people but Brad Pitt is great and story kept my attention. Was cool to see a sci-fi that’s only set in the near future (similar to the Martian).

Movie itself is a little slow but I appreciate the director's vision. I will re-watch again. HDR on this movie is good and colors stand out. Atmos track brings the speakers to life in certain space scenes. Overall, a good buy.

It may not be in the same field as 2001 or Interstellar, but Ad Astra paints a picture of the most realistic future ever portrayed in a film. With an exceptional performance by Brad Pitt, Ad Astra becomes one of the best films of 2019.

Mystery and the unknown of space and assumption of finding life elsewhere is the gist of the movie. The relationship stuff Pitt goes through during this process interesting. It is a thrilling, exciting movie.

I liked this movie, but with Brad Pitt in it I was expecting a little more action ! The special effects were great, but the overall movie was a little slow. Don’t get me wrong I liked this movie, but was looking for a little more !!

This is a really great film. The pacing is absolute, along with seeing Brad Pitt and Donald Sutherland, and Tommy Lee Jones working together is just amazing. Director James Gray does a really great job as director. Good story, great film. I truly recommend. Oh! By the way ‘tis good to see Brad finally doing a space film like his friends from Hollywood did, George Clooney - Gravity, Matt Damon - The Martian. Let’s just say Brad’s finally completed his space program. LOL!

Had great effects but story was ok. A bit disappointed with it overall

Brad Pitt made this Movie worth it to see/watch it because if You don’t pay attention to the Plot/Storyline You’ll get lost and confused kinda/sorta like the Movie “Gravity” but if You own it in 3-D Blu-ray for “Gravity” it’s so much better but too bad They didn’t make “Ad Astra” in 3-D because it would be so much more awesome excellent great super fantastic terrific very cool to watch however again Brad Pitt really truly brings it to the Homeplate with seeing it!

I waited a long time to see this movie, and I missed it at the theatres.. I was wrong.. Though the dialogue dragged in parts, it turned out to be a good space movie..

It was a good movie. Bought it hoping it would be like interstellar and while it wasn’t quite as good it did not disappoint. 4K quality is really good, picture quality is better than Blu-ray

Kind of a cross between Interstellar and Heart of Darkness. Pitt does a commendable job and the sfx are exciting seemlessly coming across in UHD with an appropriate soundtrack to boot.

Entertaining space film. I like how more and more space films are making you think about the plot making it seem like you are on a ride with the characters.

Nothing like a good sci fi movie too see when the urge hits. I can imagine what space travel and adventures would be like in the future, which makes me want to born much later than I did.

I was excited about this movie but did not like it as much as I expected. Brad Pitt is great but movie did not break any new grounds. It is even kind of sluggish towards the end.

Poor story movie...................................

If your excepting an action space adventure your going to be dissapointed. Instead this is a thoughtful, realistic type of sci-fi. Its not about the action scenes Its about the human condition.

The 4k ultra disc really shines coming through a Sony blu ray player and displayed on LG OLED. Audio and visuals are excellent. The movie itself is decent, no complaints
