Fantastic sci-fi movie of a very believable future (to a non science person like myself). This is a great visual and audio movie to use as reference material for a home theater as well. Space scenes in this movie are breathtaking and not your typical cliche plot. I will say though this didn’t come with a slip cover which was disappointing but did have the digital code. Highly recommended.

A great movie, cinematography is very well done and the plot is exceptional, this movie can be slow at times. so if that is not your thing, then look elsewhere. The 4K blu ray is great and detailed enough to be able to see the grain from the 35mm filmstock that was used. In all it is one of the most accurate (not perfect though) science fiction movies I have ever seen.

Absolutely stunning space opera. NOT that great a film but great cinematography makes a good watch. Brad Pitt’s character is kinda boring. The space dune buggy action set piece is awesome.

Not a movie critic. But was not at all what I thought. With all of the high profile actors, I was hoping for more. A very slow beginning that didn't pickup any pace.

Enjoyed it. Brad Pitt is always a win for me. The audio mix was quite nice on my system.

My wife and I both enjoyed this movie. While not Oscar-worthy (IMHO), it was well worth the purchase. We'll definitely watch it again when it comes up in the rotation.

I had a gift card and decided to pick up some movies that I didn’t get for Christmas. I had heard mixed reviews on this movie but decided to go for it. Was glad I did! Worth checking out!

If you want space cowboys this isn't for you. If you want a realistic view of what the future holds this is it. Good acting, good visuals. If you like 2001 Space Odyssey you will like.

This is an interesting movie, Brad Pitt delivers a good performance. It has some slow times in it as well as exciting scenes. The deal I got from Best Buy was great

I had to watch this movie several times just to get the story. Awesome visual effects. Like it for the scifi spacy stuff.

worth the watch. good job by brad pitt. wanted more out of Donald Sutherland and tommy lee jones. moved slow at times, but good story. needed a little more on the action sequences.

At first played blue ray DVD perfectly, but had problem with 4K DVD playback put new higher speed HDMI cable and solved the problem. Now has beautiful 4K picture and sound.

Despite Brad Pitt super Star status his performance is no nonsense and keeps the movie focused as a decent modern sci-fi and is great all the way through to the end I’m a fan now

Reasonable rendition of the near future when space travel is normal though not yet commonplace. Acceptable graphics and story line, though not a classic such as Forbidden Planet.

Cool effects is the high point. Story is somewhat convoluted and the technical aspects are not really logical (pirates on the moon?). Worth watching but not sure it’s a keeper.

If you like a good science fiction book to get your mind away from our reality , this is the one to do it. It's not a book but the pacing feels as if you are reading one . The director immerses you so far in that you fond yourself pausing the movie to make sure you are still grounded in our reality.

Visually this movie is amazing. Plot wise it's a bit slow but overall the film is well acted and action moments are quite visceral.

I was actually looking for the bluray version of this movie but my Bestbuy was out of them. So I went with the 4K version. Honestly, the cost difference between the standard bluray and the 4K version for THIS MOVIE was minimal. The disc played just fine, and even though my player supports 4K, I'd have to manually turn it on; which I didn't bother with. Image was great, sound was great.

This movie seemed interesting and I got it because it reminded me of interstellar which I love. I have no idea what this movie is about and I have about an hour left in it.

Undoubtedly one of Pitt's best perfomances! This film from its visuals to script and acting, makes it an abstract-masterpiece. While others may interpret it differently, as all films are subject to, this was one of the best films of 2019 and deserved an Academy Award. Sci-Fi is back! Felt like this could have expanded the Interstellar universe!
