    This was a disappointment. My wife and I watched it, and we honestly can’t remember anything about it at the time of this writing other than it was boring.

    Ad Astra is an artsy, moody remake of Apocalypse Now in space. Brad Pitt is searching for a rogue scientist who could destroy the entire galaxy. The twist? It's his father. Can Astro-Brad save his dad (and the galaxy) or is his dad really the villain he seems to be? The space scenes look awesome in 4K. There's a lot of long scenes of Brad Pitt staring out into space with voice-over narration. I guess all the best cowboys (I mean, astronauts) have daddy issues.

    The story and atmosphere really can draw you in. Brad Pitt carries the film looking for his father.

    Movie wasn’t bad...but didn’t thrill me. Different role for Brad P. Some scenes I thought had nothing to do with the movie. To be honest it was average.

    Great visuals, really well made, and an okay story line. If you like space movies, then you’ll probably like it, but it won’t be your favorite movie.

    Got it on sale. The movie was ok. I was expecting more action and thrills. Fell asleep thru some scenes. Ending was good. Good cast.
