i think that if you've been pining for Advance Wars for the past ~20 years, like i have, you're going to enjoy the Switch remake. you know what to expect. it adds some online UGC, which is really cool, and the animations and overall visuals are updated, of course. is it perfect? no. the battle animation cutscene things are stuttery. the Switch's low-resolution screen and lack of modern conveniences like antialiasing make it look sorta clunky compared to what current-generation consoles (even phones) are capable of. but you ought to be able to look past those minor disappointments and enjoy the game for what it is.

I loved Advance Wars on the GBA, and seeing ut finally release on the Switch was a drean come true! Turn based, tactical strategy games are my favourite genre of games.

Hours of fun playing and great nostalgia feel. Plays great in both handheld and docked modes. Fun turn based strategy game with a great animated artistic style.

I remember playing the original on game boy advance 21 years ago and being able to play again but on my living room TV brings back all of the nostalgia all over again.

Exceptional strategy game! This was brand new to me, as someone who had never heard of the gameboy original. Excellent campaigns, but the most fun part for me is playing against friends in couch co-op

Great remake of the gba games. If you never played any games in the series then give this a chance. It's easy enough to learn but still plenty of challenge.

I have played all the advance wars games since back in the day, as a long time fan of the series, I can honestly say this remaster did not disappoint!

A remake of a classic, with some nice new touches. Characters are balanced much better too. If you like strategy games this is the best one on Switch.

Advance Wars Reboot Camp is a great game for those who are into real tike strategy games! Lots of fun to play on yourbown or with friends!

Going to admit, I had this ordered at another company back in August of 2021. They never shipped it, cancelled, Best Buy had it on release day and shipped free express next day in my hands. Why BB is winning back my loyalty. Advance Wars 1+2 is a great turn based strategy game that’s aged beautifully. With fully voiced characters and short anime scenes. Mixed with modern graphic touch up, rewind feature in battle, and online play. There is hours of content to enjoy again or for the first time. Personal favorite, no day one patch.

It's still awesome. I haven't played it as much as I thought I would but my friend and I play online a little. Well worth the wait!
