I tried like 3 different laptops before keeping this one. It has near to perfect no gloss screen with a good brightness. Screen is oversized 16", more like 17" if you read from it. Intel core 7 is a good compromise. I9 is faster but loud and more expensive. Lenovo Legion has Oled sreen for basically the same money, but it is not even oled with some cheap protector screen. The closest to Aurora is HP oven model. HP is more powerful and has low brightness no gloss screen. HP is a better option if you plan to use external monitor and keep the laptop under the table. Asus has it all but about 600$ more expensive. I would better save 600$ for another upgrade next year.

Saw this on sale for circa 1000. I planned to use it as a secondary work laptop and medium load gaming system. Despite having the "power" it does, it often under perfomed when handling more demanding systems or running newer (2025) games on medium settings. However, many older games run great on the system and standard surfing, media consumption is fine.
Pro: sleek design allows for it to be taken into meetings or on the go without bulk or most people noticing it is an Alienware. The laptop itself doesnt heat up as bad as some reviewers have said when in performance and balanced modes.
Cons: Like any gaming laptop the battery is not a strong suit lasting under 2 hours when doing a medium load of mixed tasks. Although this is a budget offering the things that make an Alienware and Alienware just arent there. No glowing outer emblem, no keyboard light customization, etc. Even the gaming experience is lackluster and with the current specs, this is not a future proofed offering.
Even though the price was great and the smaller tasks done on independently are done well, other laptops do it better without studder or noisy fans. Yes there is a silent mode but even that can be vexing as it allows temperature issues. Pay a few extra hundred to get something with a little extra power and that has better specs future proofing it for those of you who wanted thia as a gaming system. I cannot recommend the product unless its on a deep discount, or you dont need your laptop to do much and you want to say you have a 5000 series card in your Alienware.

So far this laptop is great, I haven’t experienced any overheating issues and it handles games like cyberpunk pretty well. Although the fans can be kinda loud and it does put off some serious heat. I recommend using silent mode. Don’t be shocked when you plug it in to charge while playing, the fans will get louder. But that’s just because when it’s plugged in it’s able to use its full power specs. I recommend this laptop to everyone. I bought open box excellent condition. It has a minor scratch about 1-2cm on the screen but you can’t see it unless you’re using white screen. So no biggy.

Big, large screen with lots of heft. I purchased this originally as an open-box item. Used it for 1 week or so lightly - the OLED screen is fantastic and easy for older eyes needing more real-estate on everyday tasks. Can't comment on GPU power as I didn't get a chance to try any games before Dell direct sold the same laptop new for cheaper than the price I paid, so I returned it. The takeaways though - good keyboard, trackpad, OLED screen, snappy performance. But hefty (as expected), with a huge, heavy power brick. It's a good machine for those who like to work remote but are not constantly traveling. For prices below twelve-hundred bucks, it's worth it.
Lastly, the chasis are plastic.

The laptop can run most games (At least the ones I play) at 2k Ultra/High settings and does not overheat. The fans can be loud but that is to be expected. On top of that amazing specs for the price. Would highly recommend.

The laptop is great; it runs Office, scanner and games that I play. The 32GB ram makes it run so smoothly and graphics are sharp. I would highly recommend this laptop.

First gaming computer I’ve ever owned and I’m very impressed. I haven’t played a whole lot on it yet but I’ve been playing Fallout 4 with the London mod on. The game plays beautifully. The build of the laptop is great. I’d 100% recommend it.

only had it a few days but so far so good. Graphics are great. Alittle loud when gaming as fan kicks high. Seems to get hot but guess thats normal for a laptop. like it so far.

I recently upgraded to this laptop and let’s just say I’m super impressed. The Aurora 16 runs smooth, is pretty easy to use and plays games wonderfully. My previous laptop I could hardly play games like EFT on it. The Aurora runs it beautifully. The only thing I’ve really had issues with is the Alienware command center with the performance bar. Sometimes in the middle of a game it will open and turn the screen black and then minimize the game.
I also have not been able to figure out what the “stealth” button is used for on specific laptop.
