I bought this computer after a lot of searching and researching specs for a computer that’s more than capable of handling CADD programs. I mainly use this computer for Autocad and it works great. The speed and resolution are exactly what I need. The housing is a little cheap, and in no way represents the powerful processor and graphics card inside. The only thing I don’t care for is the shameless promotion of everything Microsoft that comes preloaded with the software. Probably not worth docking a whole star, but it is pretty annoying.

Great product as I expected from Alienware being a Alienware owner for years this PC does everything I need from gaming to office work. Can run all games at max settings EX: BF4, Watchgos2 and much more and it never glitches and runs quiet and cool.

If you are looking for a gaming computer or just want a powerful computer, this is the computer for you. It has an i7 processor, 16 GB of memory, fast NVIDIA GeForce graphics card, 256 GB SSD and 1 TB hard drive. The only thing it is missing is a SD slot for downloading photos or data. I bought this computer for its power.

Love this new system! It is so fast - about a 5 second boot time - and with Windows 10, highly organized. Loving the efficiency of applications and accessing resources. I know this system was designed for Gamers, which I am not. I use this PC for CAD design work and regular business matters. It is a great fit....love it!

Walked in just researching for a new computer. Luis at the Richmond location is awesome! He showed me what different models after asking what I was using it for. The computer is awesome. I use it mainly for AutoCAD. It has no problem handling the detailed drawings. Also, hooked up multiple monitors with ease.

Great speed. Easy to use. I'm not using it to it's potential, but it's nice to know that with it's special cooling features, etc that it could handle anything that I throw at it.

Even though I prefer Mac Laptops, and not a fan of Windows 10, I still truly enjoy using this desktop for gaming AND for general activities like emails, surfing, etc. Great speed, plenty of power for multi tasking and tons of storage. I highly recommend this for gaming as well.

I purchased the R6 because I needed a high performance computer right NOW! I'm a software developer and my Lenovo K460 died while I was working an a large software project. I needed a pc that that could be upgraded to a minimum of 32 gb Ram and that was FAST. I did my research and 90% of the sites stated the R6 is the best off-the-shelf high performance pc in the stores. I was NOT disappointed. The first thing I did was upgrade the memory to 32 gig. No problem. Second, I purchased a Samsung NVME 960 Pro 1TB SSD. All the tools you need to do a system recovery are on Dells website so getting windows 10 on the new SSD was a breeze. I also upgraded to the pro version. The reason for the 4 star rating is as with any off-the-shelf pc, the BIOS options are limited. I highly recommenced the Aurora R6.

The Alienware Aurora R6 is everything I've always wanted in a gaming desktop and more. It runs the most demanding AAA games at a smooth 60 FPS at a resolution between 1440p and native 4K. For the price, this is the best value around!

Decided it was time for an upgrade, and was more than pleased with what I received this unit. Blown away with the speed and the mechanics of it. Very happy with it, and certainly glad I didn't wait any longer in making the purchase.

I am using this machine as a primary simulator machine, paired with a 2nd one. The package offers reasonable value off the shelf with a good punch out of the box.

this hard drive has a nice appearance, provides very fast speed and has plenty of USB ports to connect your devices to. I highly recommend this computer!

Fast and ridiculously capable. Unless you're rendering CGI this will handle anything you throw at it. Or you can easily upgrade. No need for a 5k rig.

I bought another GTX 1070 graphics card to run SLI and oh man I am amazed playing in 4K 60FPS!!!Excellent all around!!!Games look and run so good!!

Love the Alienware Aurora. It came loaded with all the prerequisites I was looking for in a gaming PC. Couldn’t be more satisfied!
