This Alienware is a speed machine, despite being a laptop. Although it can run hot, the internal fans kick in as needed. Overall a great machine for both work and play!

I think it’s a great laptop but I definitely expected a better battery life. It tends to die after about 2 hours just from surfing the web on the lowest of settings.

It’s a good laptop, I was lucky enough to get an open box deal on it so that made it worth it. The laptop tends to get extremely hot when running most games, if you get it I would invest in a good cooling pads as well. All in all not bad, but I would not have bought it for full price.

The truth is I used this computer for a week and even with cooling it is too hot. And its battery doesn't last more than 30 minutes. It freezes a lot and the wifi is too unstable. I definitely had to return it.

Graphically the performance was good , the problem is the built in alienware software...it takes up alot of resources. 16GB is not enough for this laptop , 32GB needs to be the baseline. Also had issues with this running warmer than normal , yes I'm aware gaming laptops run warmer in general but I couldn't keep this thing at a reasonable temp without having the fans run almost full blast. If you buy it , go ahead and get an extra 16gb stick of ram and keep it cool !

This is a well-balanced choice; I recommend an external cooling device. While playing Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, the temperature was high, causing my Bluetooth headset to disconnect. I purchased an additional laptop cooling device, and now I can play games without any issues.
