Overall this is a really good laptop with steller performance the problem is with if it comes with the right charger i bought this laptop and it came with a 180 watt charger. The proper charger for this laptop is a 280 watt so the gpu can get sufficient power and optimize the performance. Best buy didnt over any solutions other than just returning the laptop. If it came with the proper charger this laptop would be amazing for future buyers just comfirm you have the proper equipment in box before purchasing.

All my benchmark test failed even after optimizing the settings and performace. Crashing on ultra settings. staggering on High graphics. I would not recomment buying if you are gonna play higher graphic with aiming for high FPS

When I first purchased the Alienware computer, I thought it was great later. The computer had everything I need however later I had a problem the computer monitor blacked out at the upper left-hand corner. I attempted to call alienware but you cannot speak to them. There’s some type of a chatbot you have to do this might be some type of AI something like Eliza. I showed the chatbot a pictures of the computer and a video showing that the damage in the upper lifetime corner at which point it asked me to do some computer test and the Internet connection was broken, I have not heard back from alienware. This is a fairly good computer. The problem might be because of the weather in Las Vegas Nevada over the last several months the average temperature as far as I can see has been approximately 130°. Fahrenheit, That being said Alienware customer service is horrible. I recommend no one by this computer. I certainly will never buy it again.

Overheats to much had to bring back. I prefer my liquid cooled and virtually silent r16.

I prefer touch screen, and why is there no number pad? Not that inpressed if we r being honest small display screen for to expensive for just some graphics and that nonsense

I purchased this laptop earlier this year from, and I’ve been having nothing but problems ever since. Bluetooth devices randomly stop working, my headphones randomly stop working, and it randomly crashes. My drivers are up-to-date. My software is up-to-date. There is no reason for this to be happening. I’ve tried support assist, but that won’t even load. The sound in my Astro A50s has now started to glitch, and I know it’s the laptop because I’ve tested it on my Xbox. This is my first gaming PC, and it is beyond a disappointment. I have nothing but problems since day one. This is a horrific product.

I was very excited to receive this awesome gaming Dell Laptop described by the manufacturer as “Alienware - M 16 R2 QHD+ 240Hz with Intel Core Ultra 7 - 16GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 - 1TB SSD”. Overall, this is a very decent gaming laptop, has awesome capabilities with a nice price point. As with all computers nowadays, it was preloaded with Microsoft's operating system which upon receipt needed to be updated. That's pretty much so standard and the update ran smoothly. The laptop is lightning fast and boot-up times are snappy and quite responsive. The laptop is slightly weighty and offers the user the feeling of a really solid build. Overall performance of the laptop was great. Boot up time is fast, as this product meets the mark with a 1 TB SSD. Program launches were snappy and quick which is totally expected with a solid-state drive. Multitasking is superb as the computer uses an Intel Core Ultra 7 155H Processor. There is no noticeable bog down during computing and it handled my word processing and Photoshop programs quite easily. The model has a customizable backlit RGB keyboard which I always enjoy, especially if I'm working in a dimly lit room. The overall feel of the keyboard was responsive, and the trackpad operations are smooth. Operational temperature of this laptop was acceptable. Temperatures did rise significantly with settings maxed out and fan noise was definitely noticeable. The screen is bright and beautiful, and screen colors really pop. The computer meets my expectations for everyday usage and is fast and responsive. Playing some of my favorite games was an no brainer, as I experienced no real issues. My gaming experience was pleasant with no complaints. Screen colors are vibrant, no screen tearing at “my” desired settings. Frames per second were “pushed”, and the overall visual quality was still excellent. Sound quality is superb for a laptop, as it's just about the best that I have ever encountered so far (and I own quite a few laptops). Pros: Intel Core Ultra 7 240Hz Semi-Cool running laptop. Furthermore, for my level of gaming, this laptop performed very well. That being said, I am recommending this fantastic computer. In the future, I will revisit this review with any updates if warranted. Purchase one and be happy!

Problems from the get go. Critical fan error 30 minutes into using it the first time. Turned out it was a BiOS update issue. Now every single attempt to play a game results in it crashing. I wish I could go back and not purchase it. I should have bought another MSI. Will never buy another Dell product.
