Ended up having to call dell and after 2 hours of tech support they told me the mother board died. Dell sent a tech to my house to replace the mother board yesterday. The tech had no idea how to replace the mother board and was trying to use YouTube to figure out how. 6 hours later he got the mother board installed with spare parts left over. Dude could not figure out where 5 of the screws went. The tech told me he had another Alienware m16 r2 to install a mother board on after mine. Definitely returning this thing and going to find a different computer.

Really good laptop if you get the right parts

The proper charger for this laptop is a 280 watt so the gpu can get sufficient power and optimize the performance. Best buy didnt over any solutions other than just returning the laptop. If it came with the proper charger this laptop would be amazing for future buyers just comfirm you have the proper equipment in box before purchasing.
