Everything is going fine, but the keyboard lights seem to be out of control.

This is the absolute worst laptop I have purchased considering how much I paid for it. Every day I have to reset it because either the audio, microphone, Bluetooth or Wi-Fi goes out on it, sometimes in the middle of important calls. I can't even play games on it anymore because the audio stops at specific points in games, and will not come back on, then the system freezes requiring a hard reset. I DO not recommend this.

This PC would be a top performer and a wonderful machine to have, but unfortunately, Alienware is putting rubber coating on the deck. This is a trait of Dell computers, who owns Alienware. Rubber coating after so long begins to ooze oily sticky goo. I’m so disappointed I had to buy a more powerful machine with better numbers by a different vendor. Other than the fact it would become a gooey self-destructive mess, it’s a pretty great PC!

This my first negative review and it's from a company that used to be my standard. I bought this laptop August 2024. It was great until recently then my monitor stopped working. I thought the problem was with the monitor because it didn't work at all. Same with my edifier speakers that were plugged in. Then two days later my laptop shutdowns with a red flash and eight blue flashes. Tech Support was very helpful and the rushed shipped to factory where they replaced the mother board. I got it back and it worked for 6 hours. Now it shuts down randomly seems to be when it goes in power saving mode not sure. I don't have time to keep sending it back to Dell as I need it for class. I think there is just a manufacturing issue with this laptop. I don't want to trade it in because I don't want to stick this with someone else. I am not ready to write off Alienware, but I am going to try a corsair machine.

Alienware used to be the standard. Oh how the mighty have fallen. Out the box this thing cooked itself. I was just running obs and a discord voice call. The specs on paper are beautiful but they didn't pair it with a quality motherboard. So buyer beware, these have a tendency to become paperweights. Very thankful that best buy total plan let me return this pile. I've since got a laptop that works and fits my needs.

Opted for the I9 thinking it would be smooth and good for casual gaming.... nope, seems like 32gb DDR5, core I9, RTX 4070 isn`t enough to run FS25. Thought I might start of light with gaming and that`s about where I just stopped. Had a bunch of lag and felt like I was getting 24 fps even on "Performance" mode.... Maybe I just got a dud, my luck I guess. But outside of games just using it for normal everyday stuff it`s fine.

I bought this laptop new and unopened, but when I was opening the box there was no foam or plastic covering the screen or keyboard. Has anyone else noticed this, or was this laptop returned to best buy by another customer? The laptop so far has had audio issues, the brightness can not be adjusted, and I am encountering issues with almost every app I downloaded.

I was excited about this laptop, expecting top performance for gaming and multimedia. However, a consistent and severe video issue made it completely unusable—even for basic tasks like watching YouTube. After researching online, I realized this problem has existed for a while, and Dell still hasn’t fixed it. Thankfully, I was able to return it and get a full refund. A gaming laptop that can’t even play a YouTube video properly is a failure. Avoid this model unless Dell finally fixes the issue.
