I had Best Buy install an amp and a Kicker Subwoofer for me, which I had bought from them. However, the original 10" sub didn't quite do it for me. So I exchanged it for this Alpine 12" and believe me, it's got all the "ooomph" I could want in a subwoofer for my car, and then some. I'm perfectly happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anybody, along with the service I received at Best Buy for when they did the installation AND the exchange.

They sound great! I listen to everything but someone screaming at me.. Opera to rap then jazz to country and I feel it nails it all without an adjustment needed! Box size is key, I built mine but haven't got a completed pic taken but I'll insert on of the "process"

Just right for an older music lover and personal in car enjoyment with good bass that hits, if you're not trying to rattle the neighborhood.

This gps is very detailed. I don't like navigating much at night especially when areas aren't well lit. This gps is very detailed and even in minimum lighting you wouldn't miss an exit because it's very detailed and reminds you a lot. The images are exactly how the highway has them. I've always preferred Garmin over tomtom

I got this the first day it came out. It didn't have any reviews but it was the only powerful enough subwoofer at Best Buy. 500W RMS is a great deal of power for a single 12". The rest of the subwoofers were 400w RMS. I got the ported box and the alpine amplifier with this and I installed it over night. Setup was really easy, sound was superb, and the deep bass is hit very well. It's not even broken in yet, so it hasn't reached its full potential either. Get a ported box for this sub and use 4 gauge power wire minimum. My amplifier: Alpine MRP-M500

If you are looking for a little extra bass in your cars audio performance, this sub does the trick. i own an 2014 Malibu with a factory pioneer system and it just needed a little extra bomb. this sub provided that sound i was missing. i only had one installed by best buy and it is plenty. If you are someone who enjoys good clean music this sub is the sub you need to complete that sound.

I am not the most technical when it comes to sound. I got advise from a cousin and others and said these were good. They sound great. I usually like my bass to compliment my music and not mask it and this does the job.

This Sub has been amazing! I put it in my 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and it has made a huge difference. I paired it with a pair of kicker speakers for the front doors and another for the back and it is incredible how much difference there is from the factory. Had it installed by Geek Squad in Montrose, OH and the guys were extremely knowledgable, and friendly. Could not have asked for a better interaction. They helped me pick out the speakers, the sub, the enclouse, and everything I needed.

These speakers rival any I have had in the past. Very capable of hurting your ears. And they rattle my girlfriends teeth.

This is an exceptional subwoofer. Great sound and not overly priced, absolutely love it and it hasn’t failed me yet even in the cold weather.

Speaker works phenomenally Pros handles 1200 watts perfectly fine really good low Bass great look and design I love the polyurethane cone looking thing cons would be it's hard to fasten a face plate or grill over the speaker and so in the trunk you have to put it in a complete and close to put it backwards in your thing other than that it's a great-looking speaker I'm happy with the by now I have to buy another one to have to in the trunk thanks.

great sound and perfect bass. Not an overpowering effect but just enough to fully enjoy your music. Make sure to break it in before you turn up all the way.

I love this sub. I only have one in a ported box. I have it hooked up with alpines 500w class D amp. I have it hooked up to a factory head unit. Man this thing sounds excellent! Will it give you a constant back massage? No. But it will deff make your music sound 1,000 times better. No one will believe that you only have 1 12in sub in your trunk. I know when i pop my trunk they all say: thats it? I really think alpine did a great job with this sub. The bass is very clear and deff packs a punch. My amp came with a bass nob for free that i use with really bassy hip hop songs, or when I get close to my house. I highly recommend this sup. You won't need to get 2 unless you want a back message and only if you want people blocks away to hear you coming. Personally i just want my music to sound great. Oh by the way this sub also has great looks. especially if you add the protective cover, which i had to get elsewhere.

All I can say is that if you want clear, deep bass that knocks then look no more. This js the woofer you need. The price is a steal.

Great Sub! Paired with MRP-500 amp. Just enough to make the car sound great. Maybe won't hear coming from 5 blocks away but that's ok. 0.91sq/ft sealed box, with ///Alpine grade grill cover. Box and sub are tight, clean bass. Install was legit by Justin in Chesterfield, MO. RUX knob is a must, Google it! Charger Scat Pack with 6 speaker ///Alpine system plus this set up is amazing. Much better than the Beats for true sound quality. Love it! Go get you one!
