This item has performed as expected. It could be a little more user friendly to operate. However, it does a good job for the price.

The 9 band equalizer is amazing but if you don't understand how to use it, you may not get the full potential of it. It took me time to figure it out but was worth it!

I picked this head unit up at a great price with the features I wanted. Quality Alpine quality and Best Buy Deals can't be beat!

Great upgrade from older system. Bluetooth and Pandora easy to setup. Get Tune It app. It made setting up best sound easy.

easy to use. pandora/iphone/mp3 players easily hook up to it. Only downside to this headunit is the preset does not have "mid" but it does have bass/sub/treble..missing mid. You need to download alpine app on your phone to adjust mid. Unless if mine is defective ? I've wired head units a few times and I know how to wire it. Hooked it up the first time and powered on but white smoke came out and blew a fuse. Thought it was bad ? Put in a new fuse and everything works fine until this day. but the thought about them giving me a possibly open box or display item is not what I wanted. I paid for the price of a new one. It was on the deal of the day for a good price so I purchased it. ****I ordered this item online for store pick up. Picked it up and opened it few days later to find my harness looks like it has been used. Why do I say this? The ends of harness I can tell its been clipped off, unequal lengths and does not have the factory look of the precut/wire stripped where you can just pull off the ends of the rubber. So I assume they gave me an open box/display item because some of the pieces were not in the plastics, which made me very disappointed but I did not have the time to go back and return it.

I would recommend the Alpine CDE153BT radio to anyone on a low budget. It's a steal fir the price.

This is an upgrade for me. I have the stock AM/FM/CD player, and this just blows great sound.
