I'll be returning the product as I could not get it to pair with my I-phone. I'll have to travel almost an hour one way to return this iten as it's the closest Best Buy in Maine. I was very disappointed with this product.

The signal cuts out intermittently. After 3 days the device went completely dead. Filter reviews for the lowest ratting and you will see that others have experienced devices that were dead after a few days. Best Buy should pull this off the shelf.

I returned this bluetooth transmitter because it did not work with my Bose mini speaker or my Bose wireless headphones. Bluetooth devises can be tricky devises and you can't tell before hand if it will work with your particular device without trying it.

Could not transmit to an iPhone 6 nor an SE nor to iPad 2 nor to iPad Air not to galaxy phones nor to portable BT speakers. Only think that managed to connect to it and work was a BT receiver adapter from same manufacturer. Waste of $$$.

Set it up as directions said. Tried to sync to wireless headsets would not sync and when it did it would not still be synched to it when I turned it off and later turn it back on. Did not take it back to Best Buy just through It in the trash!

Only the first one worked and I am on #3. Sometimes it worked and most of the time the Bluetooth did not. I wasn't sure if it was the parts or the brand new tv. I read the instructions many times and still I was not very suchsessful. Cheryl

The PROS: DOES ITS STATED JOB VERY WELL. Transmits Bluetooth from your audio out on your device, with a clear and stable connection. No noticeable lag and absolutely no drops or stutters. I got up to 30 ft with no dropouts and was very pleased. The stated range is 50 feet but I didn't have that much space to test it. SMALL and SLEEK. It's quite small and unassuming. Given that it is really intended to bring your older (and probably higher quality) tech into the modern age with Bluetooth reception, this tiny adapter will probably go unnoticed next to some swanky old-school hi-fi system. (I'm looking at you Marantz, you big beautiful thing you!) RCA CABLES sticking with the subject of bringing older technology forward, the Aluratek comes with RCA cables in addition to a USB connector. Many older devices that are still being used today, while high quality, will only have RCA connectivity. In this area more than any other, the Aluratek shines. There are many MANY Bluetooth transmitters and adapters on the market today but few that come ready to go with RCA connectors. CONNECTS EASILY to headphones of choice I connected to two different bose. One JBL headphones. One Bose SoundLink speaker One Kissral single bud earpiece (for stealthy listening to audiobooks at work). And two Insignia wireless speakers. All connected without a hitch. All sounded excellent. DUAL CONNECTION very nice feature being able to connect to two sets of headphones at once. If the headsets have individual volume controls, a couple can watch TV in comfort without disturbing other household members. THE CONS: NO SMARTPHONES: Wut? Yep, that's right. It doesn't work with smartphones. This is an absolutely huge stumbling block for a device in a glutted market with a bevy of competitors. It does state "not for smartphones" on the box, but I think the item page on the site should be MUCH more clear about this. I give it 4 stars. 1 star off for no smartphones.

Once I finally got the transmitter to pair with my speaker (after several tries) it stopped syncing and I could not pair it again. I guess it's the new disposable type device - use once then throw away. Don't waste your money.

I had to return/exchange this product at least 2x's. It stopped working with a factory error/ck with tech support. After this I took it back and got credit towards another brand. Have not tried the new brand yet.

I've spent way too much time trying to get my beats to synch with this device. I returned the first one thinking it was faulty. I just don't think it works very - I've given up. There has to be a better product.

I bought this for my mother to work with her tv and Bluetooth headphones. It stopped working after about 3 weeks. And since it was passed 15 days, I had to buy something else and toss this in the trash.

Had to return the product because I couldn’t get sound from my wireless Bluetooth speaker when the transmitter was connected to my patio tv. Bought a sound bar for the tv instead.

After pairing the device with my head phones, the signal constantly cut in and out. Don’t know if my tv was causing interference but I purchased a different brand and it works much better

I had high hopes when I bought this. Unfortunately I was never able to get the device to work properly. Now this was around 2014 so maybe the technology had advanced since then.

This is a simple little Bluetooth transmitter that does the job. It comes with a 3.5mm short cable, 3.5mm female to RCA stereo male adapter and a micro USB cable. If you want to use this with a typical home receiver via the headphone jack, chances are you will need a 1/4" headphone adapter, which is not included. I've used this on a TV and receiver and, at least for the most part, it works pretty well. It has an average range and if you get too far away within your house, particularly with walls between the signal, the sound will start cutting out. This states it's range is 50', but I'm not getting that, at least not indoors. Listening to music the sound quality is noticeably deteriorated by the transfer of the audio through the transmitter. It's not bad, but it does degrade the quality to a certain degree. I've used this on my Onkyo receiver connected to the headphone jack, which takes the larger 1/4" adapter you don't get with this device. Connection is stable and pairing up to wireless/Bluetooth headphones was simple, but make sure you don't have the headphones already paired up to another device. This transmitter can work with two devices simultaneously. I also ran this with some Bluetooth speakers, one of which is the LG RK8 Boombox and had no issues. Overall, not a bad little device for the price. You will have to keep it charged or connected via the included micro-USB cable to something with a USB port for powering devices or a wall adapter (not included), which would then allow you to not have to worry about charging.

The signal was terrible. I was able to pair it without a lot of problems but the quality of the sound was awful. No HD sound available. I found one around the same price that's perfect.
